The High Road Home Trio consists of three members of The High Road Home, an original 5-piece new-acoustic band based on the Colorado Front Range. The trio is made up of Dave on guitar and vocals, Tad Smith on dobro and Adam Hines on banjo. The trio has played everything from bars and restaurants to weddings and other private parties, and in each case we work with the buyer to fit our performance to the setting. Depending on what fits best, we're able to play original music, well-known bluegrass standards and bluegrass instrumentals, and can perform amplified or acoustically.

Tad & the band were a wonderful addition to our wedding and did an awesome job accommodating our needs, planning and working with our day-of coordinator to ensure the day went seamless and guests were having a good time. We also had the opportunity to hear them play ahead of time at a local cafe which eased our worries a bit. We got so many compliments at our wedding about how great you guys were - would definitely recommend!

Excellent picking and good vocals. Played well together and great song list incorporating new and old Bluegrass classics and some early American. Would not hesitate to have them back next year and probably will!

The guys were great to work with and kept the audience well entertained. Even think they made a few connections with other musicians from our neighborhood that were in attendance at our event. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering hiring these guys. They were punctual with the setup and take down. They were just super friendly.

Ninth Street Ramblers played for 2 hours at my son's rehearsal dinner. One hour of Cocktails followed by dinner. The music was perfect for both. Our guests from out of town loved the blue grass. Thanks!!
We booked three of the members of the Ninth Street Ramblers to play an acoustic set during our wedding cocktail hour. We couldn't have been more pleased with the guys. First off, Tad and the band were extremely professional in their communication beforehand. They were very accommodating to our wishes (classic bluegrass sound, no amps, acoustic, in an outdoor setting as the background music for a wedding cocktail hour). Communicated with us and our wedding coordinator very well. Secondly, they are extremely talented musicians with a very crowd pleasing sound. Perfect pickin guitar, dobro and mandolin blended sound. Affordable, accommodating, awesome sound. We still have guests commenting on the warm and welcoming vibe they set for our wedding hour. Highly recommended. Thanks to the Ninth Street Ramblers! -Brian
