Great Classic Country Band, with great vocals & super instrumental playing. Enjoyed this very much & stayed all night to the end. The lead vocal singer should have went to Nashville as she has a SUPER country voice. Also enjoyed energy and fun the band had amongst themselves on stage which made it a joy to watch. Would tell anyone to see this group if they get the chance to.
Price Range: $900 - $2000
Classic country music at it's finest.
THE HONKY – TONK STARDUST COWBOYS
“Let the Honky – Tonk Stardust Cowboys sing for you “
Traditional, classic country music is alive and well! With their name taken from the 1971 Lefty Frizzell song, The Honky – Tonk Stardust Cowboys do indeed,” play the country tunes of bygone days”. The band is one of the very few in central Minnesota preforming traditional country music in the spirit and sound of the original recordings. Their song list includes classic hits from artists such as: Martina McBride, Rosanne Cash ,Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, Loretta Lynn, Dwight Yoakam and many more as well as a number of early rock and roll songs.
The Honky – Tonk Stardust Cowboys include some of the area’s best musicians:
Lead singer Cassie Wiesner is one of the finest singers you will ever hear and is well known throughout the Midwest for her Patsy Cline tribute show with the band Cassie and the Bobs.
We are very excited to welcome the newest “Cowboy” Kevin Klimek. Kevin is a longtime musician dating back to the late 60’s when he played bass with the legendary Albert Mikesh. More recently he has led his own band, Enterprise as well as serving as band leader and guitarist for Connie Lee and the Tennessee Roadhouse Band, a position he continues to hold. Kevin is an incredibly versatile musician and we are thrilled to have someone of his caliber joining the band.
Keeping the beat is drummer Tony Ray. Tony has been a member of many great Minnesota bands throughout the years including Cassie and the Bobs. He books and promotes live music through his company, Good Clean Fun Productions.
Kimber Wolfe holds the low end down on bass guitar. Kimber got her start in country music with the Elkay Band and has since played in a number of rock and blues bands such as Southern Uprising and The Shackshakers.
The Honky-Tonk Stardust Cowboys appeal to young and old crowds alike. They are filling venues with their great brand of “ real “ country music and are now available for club dates, concerts and private events.
Band travels with their own PA and lighting system. For very large shows additional sound and lights may be required.
