We are an aspiring Rock and Roll band, with a basis around making interesting, very technical and challenging music. As of right now, we have a 30-40 minutes set we can play, and are willing to play low-paying shows, for publicity purposes. Our band is currently split due to two of the members being in college, but are willing to play in tri-area between Houston, College Station, and Huntsville.

All of the members of the band have been involved in bands that played live shows, so we all have on-stage experience. That being said, we like to have fun and go crazy on-stage, involve the audience as much as possible, and still sound good doing it.
The Jackpine Savages are best described as a technical rock and roll group with heavy metal influence. Just think of combining Rush and Frank Zappa. Music is the passion of all the members of the band, three of which are pursuing music as majors in college, so making interesting and complex music is the main basis for the band. As of right now, we don't mind playing low-paying shows to get a start, and would be glad to play any kind of show as long as the travel isn't too far.
Since two of the members are currently enrolled in highschool, the only gigs we could really play would be on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
That being said, don't let the overall age of the band keep you from booking us; all of the members are VERY musically talented and would make a great addition to any rock and roll venue.
Our band doesn't require any sort of tech that a normal venue wouldn't have. Our setup is very simplistic.
