I recently had the pleasure of working with J.M. Chamber Players on a brand event, and was completely blown away by the expert coordination, accommodation, and talent the group brought to the table. Thomas and his team of professionals took our vision and brought every dream to life with an all female string quartet, which surprised and delighted our guests. In addition to illuminating our event with classic and newer hits, J.M. Chamber Players took a niche classical song we had specifically requested, made sheet music from just an audio file, and perfectly executed the song on site. They will be my first call for any future live music needs - I cannot sing their praises highly enough!

Four incredible musicians performed during the ceremony and cocktail hour of my daughter's wedding. Classic rock was the genre of choice, and they knocked it out of the park, even providing compositions not already in their vast repertoire. If a string quartet is part of your next event plan, this is the group to hire!
The JM chamber players were very professional. They showed up on time, played the songs they were contracted for, and their music was excellent. I was very happy with them and would use them for my next event and recommend them to others. Tom the person I had contact with was amazing. He always called back almost immediately. We had great communication and was very helpful and willing to get sheet music for any song my daughter-in-law wanted that he might not have known. It was a great experience from beginning to end.

My husband and I wanted some low key live jazz music during our wedding reception, and Thomas coordinated the perfect combo for us, a bassist, saxophonist, and drummer. It was simple yet classy, just as we wanted, and the musicians were top-notch. He also put together a playlist for us and played “Canon in D” on the violin during the ceremony. Thomas’ professionalism and attention to detail really made an impression! He was meticulous and thoughtful in the way he planned out and executed the music component of our wedding, it truly made our guests and the entire experience all the more memorable and elegant. Everything was perfect for my event. Yoonbe was great, she was on time professional and played beautiful selections. My granddaughter was so intrigued by the music and we all enjoyed listening to her play. Everything was seamless and easy with the booking. I hired Tom from the J.M. Chamber Players to perform a solo viola recital at my outdoor wedding. Tom is an agreeable, Yale trained, pitch-perfect professional. He gave a virtuoso rendition of selections from Bach, Mozart, Beethoven in an unobtrusive manner, played abbreviated versions of standard themes on cue, and his viola sounded sweeter by itself than a cello or quartet. We are reasonably sophisticated chamber music enthusiasts and were very pleased by the tonality and phrasing of Tom's playing. Members of JMCP all have classically-trained backgrounds from the top music conservatories in the world including The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Yale University, etc. and have 20+ years of performing experience under their belt so you don't have to do any of the heavy lifting! Unlike most ensembles, the musicians that perform with JMCP have been vetted by a classically-trained agency so that you can have peace of mind on your special day!
JMCP has no major technical requirements. We provide our own music, musicians, music stands, music clips, extra gear, etc. We just require armless chairs for every musician in the ensemble so that we can perform properly. (This can usually be provided by the catering hall/event center).
JCMP provides a wide array of genres from all different styles of music including classical, pop, jazz, latin, religious, etc.
