The Longhorns feature both male and female lead vocalists, blazing guitars and a rhythm section that will keep your crowd tearing up the dance floor. We pride ourselves on offering a wide-ranging song selection that includes songs from the past 60 years of country hits. With enough notice, we can also add your special requests to our set for your event! Here are some of our Special Event Packages:

Classics of the 50s & 60s:
This package features a song selection with hits by Patsy Cline, Eddie Cochran, Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, Buck Owens, Ray Price, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, and many more.

Classics from the 70’s thru the 90’s and beyond:
This package features hits by Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, Jerry Reed, John Denver, Dwight Yoakam, Carrie Underwood, Tyler Childers, Alan Jackson, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Gretchen Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, and more.
Line Dancing Instruction:
We can provide a line dance instructor to get your guests up on the floor doing some genuine boot-scootin’ moves!

The Longhorns are a killer country-rock band based in NYC. The band performs at functions of all types: weddings, corporate events, private parties, and any event that requires a top-notch live band to get their party jumping. The band has performed at events at the Four Seasons Hotel, Tavern on the Green, Hill Country BBQ, Opry City Stage, legendary honky-tonk Rodeo Bar; Fleet Week at the Intrepid Sea & Space Museum; Haswell Green’s, and many others. Homebase is NYC but the band is available for events just about anywhere in the world. The Longhorns play everything from the classics by Merle, Willie, Patsy, Johnny, Dolly, and Loretta to more recent hits by artists like Brad, Kacey, Toby, Tyler, Miranda, and many more!
Led by ace guitarist David Weiss – whose original songs are featured on Netflix, HBO, Sony Pictures, and ABC-TV, among others – the band features players who have toured and recorded with international artists such as Gregg Allman, Sade, David Byrne, Digable Planets, Enrique Iglesias, and Ivan Neville and perform in the pit orchestras of Broadway shows.

We offer different configurations depending on our client's needs and budget. Our standard line-up is 4-piece with two guitars, bass, and drums with one male lead vocal and one female lead vocal. We can augment our core band with additional instrumentation such as pedal steel guitar, fiddle, piano, mandolin and more.
