The Man in the Flames is a project by MD native multi-instrumentalist and composer Taylor Gomolisky. Tay has performed in legendary venues and festivals along the East Coast, including Powerplant Live!, The Bowery Electric and the main stage at The New York State Fair, and cut his teeth playing on the road in the deep South with old country artists.
The catchy and energetic music sounds like distorted jazz made in a rundown garage secluded in the heart of Appalachia, bringing versatility in instrumentation and composition to every performance. Originals coincide with a growing list of covers as the band plays on in a duo, trio or quartet, with some of the greatest session musicians around.
