Getting married during a pandemic was a challenge. Trying to find someone to play music two weeks before your wedding during a pandemic is near impossible.
The Saint Paul Quartet stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park.
I spoke with Mary a few days before the wedding and she basically did all the work in arranging a setlist.
Being last minute the entire quartet was not available but Mary and Megan as violin & cello duo was more than enough for our scaled down party of 60.
They added a touch elegance to our hodgepodge last minute wedding.
Pleasure to work with! Got so many compliments on the music!

You can expect an expressive and unified string sound no matter the piece, and musical connections to the purpose of the event. Music is carefully chosen in advance in conversation with you, and we hold a special rehearsal tailored to YOUR event--at no cost--to make it a unique experience.
The Saint Paul String Quartet members are professional violins, viola, and cello in the Twin Cities Musicians Union. We operate as collaborative musicians in jazz and classical styles, matching the music selections to your event and venue.
Whether a soloist, duo, trio, or quartet, the musicians bring their own stands and lights. Only chairs (no arms) should be supplied by the venue. Microphones are rarely needed. Local and CDC recommendations and protocols for COVID-19 social distancing and facemask-wearing are expected at all in-person events, or musicians cannot play; musicians will also wear facemasks upon request.
