The Sand Fleas

The Sand Fleas play only songs that everyone knows and likes to dance or sing along to. We specialize in classic dance rock songs with a infusion of 70's disco/funk and the occasional country classic. Although we are only a trio, our guitarist carries a guitar synthesizer which allows us to seamlessly add in horns and keyboards so that all of our music has the original authentic sound. Our 3 piece often sounds like a 5 piece.

Our show is a non stop upbeat experience for the audience. We are there to have fun and your guests will not be able to stop themselves having fun with us.

We carry top notch sound, stage lights and pride ourselves on being one of the best sounding bands in our area. Our volume is always at the correct level for the event and we're very easy to work with. Once you hire us for an event your worries for the music are over.

The Sand Fleas are a group of Delaware beach musicians with over 120 years of combined playing experience. Our bassist Junior Walters and guitarist Scott Olewiler have been playing together since 1981. When combined with the years of experience our drummer Rob Hittie has, it makes a powerful combination.

Our requirements are very simple:
1. At least (2) 20 amp circuits
2. A minimum of 10 x10 area to set up in.
3. Some kind of reliable cover if the event is to be held outside.

We will provide all the equipment needed to perform.
