The Satyr Hill Band is an enjoyably versatile five piece acoustic group which features superb vocal harmonies and fine-tuned arrangements. Four lead singers, each with his own style, present a true variety in listening enjoyment. Classic instrumentation of banjo, fiddle, guitar, bass, and mandolin gives a fullness of sound that belies the fact that their sound is essentially acoustic.
The Satyr Hill Band, though primarily a bluegrass band, plays a variety of music and styles which include bluegrass, new grass (as in Revival), progressive, acoustic country and rock & roll as well as innovative originals. Bookings can be arranged to cover long distance travel.
They were fantastic!!! just what we were hoping for. They were pleasant and work with us very well during a down pour of sorts. Highly recommend !!!

Such great people. The music was just what we wanted. They learned a special song just for the wedding and even let me play along for my daughter's wedding. I was awful, but they covered so well that everyone thought I did a good job too. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

We hired the band for a neighborhood event that had attendees of all ages and many people mentioned how much they liked the band! They were also easy to work with and very punctual. Highly recommend.
It rained for the second set and they were under a tent that was leaking. They came up on the porch and they sat around with us and played while we all sang with them. It was fantastic.

Absolute Perfection: I could not have been more pleased with the performance of the Satyr Hill Band. Great people, sound, and songs. They arrived on time, were very friendly, and flexible. Jude worked with me on picking the right music. The entire band surpassed by expectations by a factor of 10. By the end of the night I was sad to see them leave, and have begun thinking about other events in which we could have them play. You will not be disappointed!

Satyr Hill was excellent and they were very cheerful and very skilled musicians. We felt bad because People were so focused on being social after being pent up with the pandemic that they didn’t give the band the attention they really deserved. Nonetheless everyone loved them!
