The Sean Torres Trio is a DFW-based jazz trio that performs America's original art form: Jazz! We enjoy and perform all eras of jazz, whether it be traditional, bebop, or modern. Enhancing your event and loving every note of this genre is our mission.

I hired the Sean Torres Trio; not knowing very much about them, for a party I had in Dallas. They were recommended by a friend. So I took a chance and hoped for the best. TOTAL PROFESSIONALS. They showed up early, set up quickly and were ready to go. I asked them for some mellow music to start the party out with and then we could crank it up as the party got going. They took my direction and added the perfect songs that made my party a total hit. All of my guests commented on them. These guys are educated musicians and have a very strong work ethic that I found extremely professional. I would highly recommend them for any party or event.

-We prefer to dress to the event. Don't worry, we are prepared to put on the tuxes. We can be casual too, only upon request!
-If you prefer to add keys, a horn player, or vocals we can arrange that but must be clarified early on.
-My group is very versatile and we insist on providing the right kind of sonic atmosphere for the occasion. Do you want to relax and enjoy your conversation and feel classy? We will put on some easy jazz ballads for you. Do you want to get up and boogie down? We can provide the sizzle for your swing and play an up tempo diddy!
Upon arrival to Dallas in 2012, Sean quickly fell in love with the city's immense amount of creative talent. Sean Torres is a young and rising guitarist from Austin, Texas now based out of the metroplex. As a student of all genres, he recognizes and strongly believes in music's core values: emotion, rhythm, and harmony.
Now graduated from UNT's Jazz Program, Sean's unbreakable ambition to grow musically is on full throttle. Combining his experiences from the Dallas gospel scene, r&b scene, and jazz scene, Sean's unique style has taken form and is progressing quickly. Sit back, enjoy the colors from his six-stringed paint brush and watch as your sonic painting comes to life!
