The Socials (formerly known as Kattika) are an Ottawa based cover band providing a diverse musical entertainment experience that gets the audience engaged! We focus on covering classic rock, 80's/90's/00's/ 10's, pop, country, alternative and a few surprises along the way, and can tailor our set lists to your event needs. Our philosophy is pretty simple; we play "all the music that people love to sing-to and dance-to", and we involve the audience as much as possible- and we challenge them to have as much fun as we do!

The band is a diverse musical entertainment experience covering classic rock, 80's/90's/00's/ 10's, pop, country, alternative and a few surprises along the way. Our philosophy is pretty simple; we play "all the music that people love to sing-to, dance-to and drink to"... and we challenge any audience to have as much fun as we do! We love to really engage with the crowd and get them involved with our performance so they're an active part of the experience and we have plenty of satisfied customers to prove it, from the local bar circuit to large corporate events, weddings and private parties.
Made up of 4 veterans of the Ottawa music scene, Chris Nantes (vocals, guitar), Danny Habash (vocals, bass), Phil Rocco (vocals, guitar) and Greg Finlay (drums), The Socials (formerly known as Kattika) have enjoyed playing stages across Canada. From intimate duo sessions to outdoor festivals, from small towns to large weddings, from museums to Rideau Hall, Kattika has proven themselves to please any crowd.
