We hired Andre for a blue grass hymn sing-a-long for a Sunday when our Director of Music was out of town. Andre did a great job blending in with the musicians we recruited to lead the hymn singing and was just an all-around pleasure to work with! We will have him back!

Andre played a 1 hour set with a pre arranged set list, guitar and banjo. His music was the perfect background for our dinner, enjoyed by all (even those at other tables).

We had the pleasure to have The String Beans Experience at our North Beach event in San Francisco, CA, and we were delighted by the music. It draws from a large repertoire, but also provided a lot of original compositions that were really good and in line with the mood. We highly recommend it!

I perform on banjo, guitar and vocals, either solo or with one or several partners depending upon the gig. I have a large repertoire of classical guitar pieces, bluegrass, jazz, and folk tunes. I perform also my original tunes, some of which have been prized at national competitions.
I was born in Selestat, a small town nested in Alsace. My passion for music came after a rewarding career in the software industry. My works reflect a wide range of emotions and images inspired by my journey.
My aim in composition is to embrace my software research and engineering background and the creativity it fueled. In a stark departure from postulates I heard in music school, the computer is my staff paper as well as canvas and I find freedom and endless possibilities in notation and other software when I write music, where many a composer often experiences only frustration and arbitrariness.
Prior to my musical study, I was the founder of Beat the Traffic, sold to The Weather Network. I am the author of “You can be a Silicon Valley Success” (2016) available on Amazon and elsewhere. As an Angel investor and entrepreneur, I consult on starting a business, growth and user experience, and am an inventor of 50 patents.
I can bring my sound system.
Having power is preferred however I do have a battery setup that can last 4 hours
