The Sweet Country Band was voted Ventura County’s most dynamic and captivating Classic Country Band.
This band has been around the block a few times, playing a variety of music sure to please any crowd, young or old.
This band is comprised of Ventura County's finest Seasoned Musicians. Our professional attitude and the quality of our music and vocal harmonies, absolutely make this band stand out above the rest, leaving you with a show that you won't soon forget!
The Sweet Country Band recently performed at the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Winter Wine Down fundraiser as the headlining act. Not only were they a perfect fit for the Western themed event, but they came prepared with a 3 hour set list that had event attendees raving (and dancing!). The gig went flawlessly, the band members were supremely talented, and they even saved the day by loaning us the use of an additional speaker for our emcees at the last minute. Bob Morock, the lead singer, was very professional and stayed in contact with us in the weeks leading up to the event, providing a set list and making sure all details were discussed ahead of time. These guys really came through for us, and we recommend them to anyone considering a country band at their next event!
We had the wonderful pleasure to have seen your Band play while visiting California one year. The Sweet County Band was the opening band for a Randy Travis concert in Ventura CA which we attended. You were awesome! Afterwards, we went out to eat and there were several people there at the restaurant that were also at the same concert who could not have said enough good things about your Band. I hope that some day I will have another opportunity to visit California and to see your band play. If The Sweet Country Band is ever in the Ohio area, please let us know!
Do you sell CD? (A long distance fan!) Christy
I had the pleasure of watching the Sweet Country Band perform at the Lexington assisted living facility on a beautiful Saturday morning. The residents enjoyed the great music and a wonderful opportunity to dance. All the band members have terrific (and unique) personalities. I would love to see them perform again. Thanks for the memories!
Bob Morock and the Sweet Country Band,
On Saturday, October 2, 2010, my wife, Merrilyn, and I were very fortunate to attend the first Veterans Appreciation Barbecue, Concert and Fundraiser at the Ventura Veterans Home of California. That day was a special day with outstanding music provided by the Sweet Country Band for dozens of Veterans and their families. Everyone enjoyed your music, the dancing, the singing and the high level of excitement and fun that Sweet Country provided to our Veterans. All of us Veterans are looking forward to the Second Annual Veterans Appreciation Program next year.
Sincerely with appreciation,
Richard C. Lemons, Captain, U. S. Air Force
Dear Bob Morock and members of the Sweet Country Band:
On behalf of the California Department of Veterans Affairs, I want to thank you all for sharing your time and amazing talents for the first Veterans Appreciation Barbecue, Concert and Fundraiser at the Veterans Home of California--Ventura on Saturday, October 2. We are all still talking about what a wonderful day it was -- and it was all because of you! We can see clearly why you were voted the Best Country Band in Ventura! And the fact that your band member approached the Veterans Home to offer your talents makes it even more special. Not only did the concert raise funds for the Veterans Morale and Recreation fund, but they all had such a wonderful time, some even singing along. Thank you for sharing -- and thank you for caring.

The Sweet Country Band has been a part of the southern California country music scene since 1993. The years have passed way too quickly, but a backward glance reflects a successful 17 year music venture that has been an unforgettable journey. The band has had the pleasure of entertaining diverse venues that have included special events, clubs, street and county fairs, private parties and weddings.
Evolving to greater horizons, Sweet Country was voted Ventura County’s most dynamic and captivating classic country band, followed by an invitation to appear as the opening band for Randy Travis at the Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura California.
Due to the relocation of our lead guitarist, the band has reorganized, combining the talents of several new musicians which has enriched the group with their distinctive and seasoned backgrounds and has produced a tight, high energy sound that resonates all the classic country favorites you love listening to.
We invite you, our old friends and new friends, to continue the journey with us by checking out our calendar of future events and join us for an evening of classic country entertainment.
