My wife and I booked Thel to play at our wedding reception. He was absolutely terrific! A month before the reception, Thel met with us at the venue to judge which equipment would be most appropriate and to get a feel of the acoustics. Thel stayed in touch via email and was very prompt in responding.
At the reception, Thel played continuously for 3 hours and matched the tempo/speed of the music with how the party progressed. The music selections were terrific and were designed to not take center stage, but rather, provide the appropriate background scene.
Thel is a true professional and surpassed our expectations. Thel is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

About
Thel has performed in venues that include numerous country clubs, York County Blues and Jazz Festival (phone number hidden)5, restaurants, art shows, etc.. He has have also performed at numerous churches, rehearsal dinners, weddings, private parties, and corporate events. During a typical performance Thel has enough material for four 45 to 50 minutes sets. References can be provided upon request.
Thel Petty performs jazz solo guitar (Style: Improvisation of Classic Jazz Standards). He provides PA and all related equipment for the performance.
