5- star perfection! Band was on time, set up quickly and played a tremendous variety of songs. The venue was a mid size barn style winery and the band picked the best spot for acoustics; sound was perfect! Our guests were able to comfortably talk to each other but still hear the band. So many guests, as well as the staff, gave us compliments on the band! The song selections were amazing based on the genres and years we requested! Such professionals and genuinely nice guys. The Closers were perfect for our party! They drove all the way to Indianapolis for my husband’s 55th birthday party. We set them up pool side and it was amazing. They kept us partying all night! Everyone came up to us and asked who they were and said how good they were. I would recommend them for any party!

The Closers played for my husbands 40th surprise party. All of the guest were very impressed by their talent and the music they played pleased everyone of all ages! This band is very easy to work with and willing to play special request. Their lights and personality added great details to the party. If I have another party or event I am calling them without hesitation. The closers are very a talented, respectful group who love to have a good time on stage.

We took a group of people to see the Closers at a local Pub in Hebron. We were a little nervous because we thought it might be a little high end for our crowd. Let me tell you; The Closers did not disappoint. They were welcoming and set the scene for a great night. The drummer even let one of our friends jump in and play a set. The pianist was striking and the real hero of the day. We will be back to watch this band again!!!
The Closers performed at my college graduation party and were unbelievable. Not only were they professional, but were lots of fun and provided an excellent atmosphere for the party. Everyone loved their music and lights and they exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended!
You couldn't ask for an easier group to work with. Just Gravy can be flexible in what music you want them to play. They were the icing on the cake for a well planned out fundraiser.

Tip Jar & The Bar Stars was formed by Dan Walsh, and Aarom Mahoney and some friends in 2004. Over the years they've played all around the greater Cincinnati area as well as Lexington, Lousiville and Dayton. From bars to summer parties and wedding, Tip Jar has a fun time and knows how to win a crowd over. Tip Jar & The Bar Stars can come as 2 to 6 players depending on the size of the event. With the big band they will bring a girl front singer and a saxophone player. Easy to work with and years of experience make Tip Jar the band for your party or other special occasion.
