Tom was/is phenomenal!! Coming from New Orleans and a family of professional musicians our standards are high. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances my sister who also plays the sax could not attend which placed me in the precarious position of finding someone to replace her last minute.. I came across gigsalad and after researching the back ground of the various artist,I chose Tom . From the beginning to the very end Tom confirmed my confidence in his abilities. Tom was professional from start to finish. Responded to my booking request the first day, showed up early, and gave a performance that was unforgettable. He had my wife in tears of joy. It was a birthday surprise for my wife. Tom played the song styles we wanted and took our requests, and did phenomenal, even on the songs he wasn't very familiar with.
I recommend Tom for any event you might have involving the Saxophone. And on top of that he was very friendly and shared some of his passions for playing the sax. Book Tom. You will not be disappointed!

For a typical performance agreement, Tom will provide a PA speaker system, party lighting, and an optional microphone for guest announcements. The actual performance can be best described as 'saxophone karaoke', where Tom plays saxophone to backing music tracks with vocals removed. The music styles are usually from classic & modern R&B, smooth and traditional jazz, and pop standards. Tom also takes specific song and style requests.
Sometimes a full PA system and lighting is not needed, and a performance agreement could be as simple as playing 'happy birthday' to a guest at a restaurant, as an example. Tom is able to work with you to customize a performance agreement specific to your needs.
In addition to being a solo artist, Tom also works frequently with other live musicians in duo, trio, and quartet settings (guitar, piano, drums, vocalist, etc). Be sure to inquire about adding other live musicians for an enhanced experience to your event.
Tom is a graduate from the prestigious Jacobs School of Music (Indiana University), and enjoys sharing his passion for the saxophone and flute with audiences worldwide.
