Tom Murray is a New York saxophonist/singer who specializes in reinventing the American Songbook with the use of contemporary beats and arrangements.
Like Louis Armstrong and Louis Prima, Tom is known for his big smile and contagious enthusiasm.
As a busy freelancer Tom has performed and recorded with a broad variety of acts including Roberta Flack, Burt Bacharach, Elvis Costello, Bernadette Peters, reggae stars John Holt and Freddie McGregor, jazz legends Woody Herman and Brother Jack McDuff and numerous Broadway shows such as The Drowsy Chaperone, Memphis, and Newsies.
