Tom Wardle is a British singer/guitarist now based in New York, bringing his unique brand of acoustic pop, rock and soul to events around the US. Described by Rolling Stone Magazine as having "Gritty vocals that echo Rod Stewart", Tom's one man show is a masterclass in style and substance, featuring loop and harmony pedals, as well as taking requests from the audience. Tom's stage presence and voice has won him fans all over, with him being a regular feature on the Hamptons summer scene, as well as playing celebrity parties, including Donna Karan's New Years eve parties in Turks and Caicos.
Tom,
I can’t thank you enough. Time is one of the most expensive luxuries in life, and once it’s gone you can’t get it back. Thank you for respecting our time by being “On Time”, thank you for sharing your talent & expertise with us! We are truly grateful. I guess my gratitude is my review. I hope to book you again in the future if your schedule permits! Thanks a billion
Humbly,
G. Charles
We have used Tom Wardle for several events. Each time we have worked with him he has been professional, friendly and easy to do business with. He knows how to feel out an audience and manipulate his set to their liking. We always receive several compliments and requests to have him back after a show. We will continue to use Tom for our events.
Tom was not only an absolute delight to make the arrangements with, but his performance was stellar and he totally charmed all of the guests. Thank you, Tom!

Tom Wardle presents a lively acoustic one-man show, comprising of loop and harmony pedals, and a strong soulful voice. Playing the best of rock, pop and soul from the last sixty years, Tom has honed his skill over nearly 2000 gigs, with a catalogue of songs reaching well over 400 to play from. As of 2021 Tom has also been performing regularly as part of a duo, bringing aboard a talented keys player to add to his sound.
For smaller events (20 - 50 people) Tom can provide PA system, though for larger or corporate events it is often requested that professional sound and staging be hired in to get the best of the performance.
Tom encourages clients to choose songs they'd wish for his setlist, always asking what kind of event they are having and how they envision their night to go. Requests are always welcomed, and are in fact encouraged. Tom's British charm and personable stage manner are as enticing as his talent as a singer and guitarist.
Arriving in New York City from Nottingham, England in 2017 with just a suitcase to his name and a fierce ambition to make classic pop records, singer-songwriter Tom Wardle and his brand of soulful pop/rock have already made its mark here in the States. With a voice that Rolling Stone compares to Rod Stewart, the same publication proclaimed his earnest acoustic ballad Jacqueline as one of their Songs You Need To Know upon its release in 2019.
Tom Wardle quickly established himself as a live music favourite at exclusive events in the wealthy enclave of The Hamptons, New York, with socialite must-read Hamptons Magazine giving him a three-page feature about his move to the States and chasing his American dream.
Wardle's lively one-man acoustic shows with loop and harmony pedals have been capturing fans on both sides of the Atlantic, along with his distinctive husky vocals and assured stage presence - something that Wardle attest to the 1500+ gigs he’s played since he left school at 18 to pursue a living in the pubs and bars of his hometown of Nottingham. Since then he's played at private events in New York, Los Angeles, Aspen, Turks and Caicos, Switzerland and many more, with recent clients including Goldman Sachs, Urban Zen, Dior Parfum and AMAN resorts.
2018 saw Wardle support Grammy winners Bryan Adams and Michael Bolton in New York, as well as performing at fashion mogul Donna Karan's New Years Eve parties in Turks and Caicos for the past two years.
Blending influences such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Faces, Squeeze and The Style Council, Wardle's relentless optimism and romanticism shine through on such tracks as Motown stomper Let Your Love Shine Out and boogie-rocker Don't Give Up On Me Just Yet - the latter being co-written and produced by Squeeze's Chris Difford. Records such as She Kissed Me and Secret have been championed by UK's largest radio station, BBC Radio 2, as well as the influential BBC Introducing and Long Island’s NPR Station WLIW 88.3 in the US.
The acclaimed Jacqueline EP, as well as both summer 2020 singles Secret and Saviour saw Tom team up with members of the Brian Wilson band in Los Angeles, California, who helped Tom realise his vision of creating songs that leap out of the speakers from the second you push play, and that stay in your head long after the three minutes is up.
Tom has 2 x QSC K10 Speakers which are ideal for smaller events of 20-50 people. For larger events it is often requested that the client hires in a sound engineer to provide the PA System, ensuring that the best sound is achieved on the day leaving Tom free to concentrate on what matters most, which is the performance.
