We still have not heard from Ronnie Hughes (213) 522-6832 who took our money but did not offer the service. No bartender showed up to our 50 people event. No communication before and after the event. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT. I need someone from TOP SHELF to reach out to me. We want our money back and explanation why they did this.
I am looking for Ronnie Hughes of Top Shelf event Service. I have been calling for the bartender service he was supposed to provide for my event today. He stopped communicating with us. He does not answer my calls or reply to my messages. Pls let him know to reach to to me ASAP

Johanna was excellent!! She took direction very well, had a great attitude, and was very professional. We had a great time and I will definitely use Top Shelf again.
We had challenges and they had challenges - what I love about this event is that we overcame them as a team. What I know about big events (137 people) is that they NEVER go as planned. They had a waitstaff "no show" and we had a bartender "no show". Ron, the owner of the company, jumped in behind the bar. The other two servers did double duty. The waitstaff were great with the teens - just the right amount of playing and fun, while still working very hard. The clean up and breakdown was not easy - everyone got in and we finished early. I would definitely hire them again.

Ron was very communicative, I was a little freaked out since the company base is further than I thought people would drive, but I worried for nothing. I had two servers and a bartender and they did a great job. I highly recommend!
James was top notch! I hosted a Mother’s Day event for 30. Not used to having any help, I was blown away. The guests all loved him, he was helpful with a can do attitude. I highly recommend! 🤩
Omg, James was so helpful and friendly. All the guests loved him. I was late to my event and stressed, but with his help we were able to organize all the foods and decors before guests arrived 🙏 he went above and beyond. Highly highly recommend

I had a private dinner for 6-8 people and James was excellent from serving drinks to serving food. I highly recommend him if you are looking for someone who will meet past your expectations of customer service. I am looking forward to hiring him again.

I hired this company to send a server for a party at my home in Simi Valley. Not only did no one appear, but I initially could not reach the company by phone. I received two or three calls from a "bartender," not a server, who said she was near LAX and had "appointments " to attend to and that she was on her way, and then later said she'd be there in a half hour. She never appeared. All the while I was trying to reach the supervisor. Finally he called me back and said he would send someone else right away but eventually texted that he didn't have anyone. I usually do not write negative reviews, but this was so bad that I felt obligated to do so.
Our bartender/mixologist Ronny was good energy right away. He gave the birthday girl lessons on how to make drinks better than was expected and everyone enjoyed the whole process. He was punctual, professional and humorous.
The team hired was awesome! Arrived on time and made sure whatever could be helped with or done was accomplished immediately.
They were self sufficient and helped out immensely with the entire wedding event. Extremely hard workers, they were really incredible!! Best money spent on the entire wedding! Thank you again!!
On time, courteous, will be hiring again soon!

Top Shelf delivers on a 4 star restaurant experience. What to expect is knowledge of cocktails and knowledge of guest service. All of our staff are previous and current bartenders and wait staff. Our set up is just if you walked into a Hilton restaurant or a L.A. night club, just depends on your preference. Our know how of formatting service specific to each event is up there with the best.

Ronnie worked in restaurants, bars and night clubs, for 20 years and decided to start his own bar tending service after working a holiday season at the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside Ca. Ronnie built Top Shelf with the idea of serving all of Southern California with the same class and service that you would receive in a 4 star restaurant.
