Live Jazz for any event! Triad Jazz Group provides background music, traditional jazz favorites, swing, dance music, or bebop, depending on what the occasion calls for. The size of our group is very flexible depending on type of event and budget.
The experience working with Triad Jazz Group was phenomenal! Charlton's communication was timely, and Stephen & Kevin's performance made our intimate Valentine's Day gathering memorable. We definitely plan to use them again in the future. Thank you all so much.
Band was professional, very talented and music selection was very well liked by young and old. I would recommend very highly. Some minor miscues on being set up by 6;30 - but the band apologized and got moving quickly once the guests arrived. Very talented musicians- great lead vocalist.
Triad jazz group played for my wedding reception and met above expectations! The keyboardist was extremely technical and virtuosic on his instrument. I was blown away by such high caliber of musicians. The volume was perfect for the event and they gave me an extremely generous rate for the event. Highly recommend!

Triad jazz group did an absolutely stunning performance at the Carolina Theater in Greensboro. All the musicians performing were top notch! I could have not been more impressed by the musicianship presented. Will be staying in contact for future opportunities!

The Triad Jazz Group is a group of professional musicians dedicated to upholding the tradition of the finest big band composers and arrangers (Ellington, Basie, Gillespie, etc) while promoting the performance of new arrangements and compositions by its members. It is a truly cross-generational ensemble, comprised of some of North Carolina's finest and most respected jazz educators, music professionals, and up-and-coming young artists. Its musicians are alums of the big bands of Wynton Marsalis, Harry Connick, Jr., Toshiko Akiyoshi, Christian McBride, the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, plus many more, and as arrangers/composers, its members have created well over 100 works for big band, many of which will make up the band's unique repertory.
