Tripping Jim is a hard rock / metal band that performs throughout the Greater Dayton Area. We are all experienced musicians and professionals. We are also self sufficient with the capability to run our own sound and lighting. All you have to do is enjoy.

What to Expect
The audience should be prepared for a well rehearsed performance filled with high-energy music. We perform songs from some of the greatest rock bands including Alice in Chains, 10 Years, Ozzy, ZZ Top, Metallica, Breakin Benjamin, and Crossfade. Our Ideal is to perform music that brings back memories you thought had been forgotten.
Clients can expect us to arrive early for load-in and sound check. We offer a full PA system and lighting if necessary to ensure that the show can be played anywhere. If you have a special cause, promotion, or event let us know and we will help get the word out. Is there a specific song you would like to hear? Let us know and we will learn it!
About
Tripping Jim is a band that comes from all different backgrounds. Our bass player is a classically trained symphony musician, our guitarist performed with jazz ensembles throughout the Dayton area, and our drummer has performed with and opened for multiple national acts. We bring our diverse background into our performance offering a variety of rock music from the 70's to the 2000's.
We come fully capable to put on a show with the ability to bring our own PA and lighting.
