If your looking for a little more than background noise, and still love to dance. We have the poetry, thoughtfulness, charm, passion, and rhythm to carry your event.
We really enjoyed listening to your band play at the Sandman while enjoying the Friday night weather relaxing around the pool! Great music and loved the viola playing! Great interaction with the crowd. Made our stay at this hotel memorable! Would love to see the band again and good luck on your future tours!
For the great quality of music and entertainment Two Lions provides, their humility was fantastic! We had a relatively small space for them to perform, but they adapted and took the time to engage the crowd.Everyone had a fantastic time. We hope to see them perform again or have them at an event. Wish them the best in their future endeavors!
Thoroughly enjoyed the band, their style, their music. Only issue is that it seams to me, not certain, that they played same songs or same set several times. Even if they did more covers it would have been refreshing. But good background music for our vineyard gig.
Response from Two Lions:
Thank you for your review. Although we feel we gave more than a 3 out 5 star performance, we always respect an individual's feedback. Please note that this venue was outside, in 100+ degree heat, with no amplification. Some songs were extended and one song out of three, 45 minute sets, was repeated. Mainly, because we were limited, due to lack of a microphone. There were a couple of instances where the shade structure knocked over our gear and hit the drummer in the head. This may have also attributed to the performance not feeling seamless. Many of the guests came up and personally thanked us for a lovely afternoon.
Can't say enough good things about these guys. From the beginning they were flexible, communicative and friendly. On the day of the event (wedding) it ended up down pouring. They still showed up on time with a smile and an extra dry tent. Their personalities were super warm and their lovely music really made the event magical. So happy I got to book them. Can't recommend these amazing folks enough. 😊
I want to Thank Two Lions Band for being exactly what I we wanted. Sounded just like sample the sample music I heard. You were so gracious and accomadating to the space and the guests at the venue. I'm going to find/create events to have you back. Thank You for your incredible music
Mitch and Ashley provided our ceremony and reception music. We absolutely loved the version of our first dance song they did for us and well as the fun upbeat music played throughout the evening.

Ideally, we are a duet or a trio (with drums). Mitchel Slade can also perform the set as a soloist. the music is poetic and thoughtful, and the tunes are rhythmic and fun to dance too. We play a mixture of Americana, Folk Rock, and Bluegrass music.
We are a high energy show, and we work to capture the audience and keep them happy and enthusiastic. With that said, we also perform slow tunes and can play kindly in the background during ceremonies. We have performed fund raisers (Children of the Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund - Soda Rock Winery 16th annual), weddings, and performance halls.
The Two Lions Band is an original Folk Rock band for the Sonoma County Area.
They recently won the 2018 NorBay Best Rock Band Award.
Currently, Mitchel Slade, Lance Harrington, and Ashley Holmberg are touring the latest tunes. Check out the schedule page for more information.
