I had the pleasure of working with U7 Austin DJ for a client's wedding, and I can confidently say that he exceeded all expectations, making the evening truly unforgettable. Ramsey was an amazing DJ and worked well with our videography team. He played the best songs to keep everyone lively on the dance floor. Ramsey exhibited a friendly and approachable demeanor, making him a pleasure to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any occasion where top-notch entertainment is a must.

Ramsey is awesome! From our very first phone call, we could tell how passionate he is about his work and the pride he takes in ensuring the day if perfect. He had such incredible detail and asked so many thoughtful questions to really make sure the day was what we wanted. He kept our dance floor crowded the entire night and was the best DJ set I have ever been to! We received so many compliments on the music and had friends asking if he travels so he can do their wedding. Exceeded our expectations is an understatement.

We had an amazing wedding, and Ramsey (U7 DJ) was a huge part of that. From the time that I contacted him, he was so kind and very upfront about pricing (which when wedding planning was very appreciated). He sent us a very detailed survey and got to know both my husband and my music preferences. He provided mics for our outdoor ceremony and all of our guests were able to clearly hear our ceremony. We had our friend officiate our wedding and Ramsey helped calm his nerves while helping him get his mic attached to his suit. He also provided both of us with a hand held microphone so our guests could clearly hear us. During the reception he did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator to ensure all the transitions went smoothly. He matched the vibe of the party with the music and our guests dancing. He was so professional and I would recommend him to anyone hiring a DJ.

DJ Ram-Z with U7 Austin DJ was the best. He was quick to resolve any issues that came his way with the venue space, was communicative throughout the pre-wedding process, listened to our input on playlists, and kept everyone dancing all night long. It was clear he was reading the room as we went along throughout the event and tailoring the music to what the crowd was responding to most, which made for an AMAZING time. I have known Mike since High School and we were buddies then and have stayed buddies until this very day. We’ve stayed connected through music and when my wedding day came up the ONLY solid decision was Mike and U7 to host and plan the music for our wedding. Mike knocked it out of the park! DJ Ramsey was amazing! He was so kind, detail oriented, and made us feel so well taken care of. He felt more like a friend than a person we hired for our wedding. We gave him a solid list of music we liked and he used that to create an ultimate dance party for the reception. He was great at reading the room and things stayed pumped up all night. We chose a genre for the cocktail hour and dinner and the music was perfect. We recommend DJ Ramsey to anyone that wants to have an amazing event that they’ll never forget. Also, the genres ranged from Frank Sinatra to Shakira.

The DJ was the MOST important vendor for our wedding - we really wanted to have an epic dance party. Ramsey (U7 Austin DJ) was PERFECT for the job! From our first conversation with him, we knew he had the "vibe" we were looking for. My husband is very into metal music but since that is not exactly dance music for most people, we decided to play instrumental covers of metal songs during cocktail hour and dinner, which was so fun! (And we got so many compliments!). We completed his questionnaire and had an in-depth consultation with him beforehand so he knew exactly what we wanted, and he really delivered in every single way. We had a few unique requests that he nailed, like having a mini pop punk segment, and playing a shortened version of our first dance song (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters), but also told him we wanted "Millennial Bangers" and lots of songs to dance along to. There was truly not a single dud - every song was a hit. He did both the ceremony and reception music for us at the Hummingbird House and the ceremony music/audio was also wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding!

We could not believe how above and beyond Ramsey went for us on our wedding night! Perhaps we should have known tho, he provided us with a very detailed questionnaire and checked in on us throughout the planning process. He even helped put together a beautiful song for everyone to walk down the aisle too. He was key in helping out night run so smooth, was an excellent MC and kept everyone dancing all night! We would recommend him 100 times over !

He was also incredibly professional and collaborated with our photographer throughout the night. Made sure he had all the details of the venue and had a beautiful set up!

And did I mention he was best dressed !!?🤣

My wife and I got married back in May and Ramsey did an excellent job and was a solid MC! We found him through The Knot and from the beginning he was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, even going through a very thorough pre-wedding checklist with us to make sure he took our preferences into account. The song choices were excellent, and Ramsey overall brought a positive energy to both the ceremony and reception that many of our guests enjoyed! I'm very glad we went with him and I highly recommend using U7! When I throw parties in Austin, I know who I'm calling first!

I cannot say enough about how essential DJ Mikka was to making our wedding what it was! I still receive compliment after compliment about how fun the reception was and how they had never had a wedding DJ throw such a party. DJ Mikka was easily one of our favorite vendors! He was great to work with, delivered every one of my requests, and even went out of his way to invite my 7 year old cousin (who dreams of being a DJ) up to jam with him. I’m not just saying this because it was my own wedding - DJ Mikka made it the most fun wedding reception I have ever been to! Thank you DJ Mikka, we are so grateful for you!

Ramsey absolutely killed it at our wedding!! He is so experienced and kept my mind at ease during the planning process. The audio at the ceremony was perfect, and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the day of (as a bride- that was the biggest relief). But most importantly, he made the reception so INSANELY FUN!! He played what we wanted but also knew how to make transitions and keep everybody dancing! We even got a dance circle going which was a secret dream of mine! We adore you, U7!!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about U7! I recently planned my first ever wedding and Ramsey was a true lifesaver. One of the first to arrive, and one of the last to leave, he really provided more than just the music. Ramsey listened to what the Bride and Groom wanted, gave some really helpful opinions, and kept the vibe right while ensuring everything remained on schedule, he is an absolute master of his craft. U7 was incredibly easy to work with, professional, and more than fairly priced, highly recommended for any event!!

I produced a Corporate Holiday Party in Austin for about 450 people and Ramsey curated the perfect flow of music from arrivals to speeches and for the late night dance party portion of the event. He will play any type of music you request and is also a great MC to make announcements. He was prompt, professional and has a great personality to boot! I would 100% book Ramsey again and highly recommend him for any event!

He did and amazing job at our wedding really looked at my playlist and played every genre of songs we like and at a good pace of between each one. So not to many slow songs at once and so forth. I highly recommend him! Really takes the time to make sure he’s going to give you exactly what your looking for your event!

I've seen him grow as a DJ that can always step up and play just what is needed from a solid opening set to background music at a restaurant to a main stage gig, he can do it all. He's professional, shows up on time, stays sober, works the crowd and is a breeze to work with.

5 STARS... Ram--Z is a solid DJ that brings the party alive. He is reliable and has the ability to take the crowd on a transcendental journey. He creates a dance floor with a range of emotions and genre jumps. With his unique style, that is all his own, he keeps the booties shaken. I will not just book him again but I enjoy dancing to his sets.
