About
UaZit [25] co-owner of Stalph, is a self-taught music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and recording artist based in Central Indiana. Alongside creating music, UaZit is a professional photographer, videographer, and graphic artist with the ability to maneuver a handful of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Muse, and Character Animator.
Joining the elementary school band in fifth grade, UaZit had dreams of becoming a percussionist. However, his band director decided keeping tempo was not in UaZit’s future and made him pick up the trombone. In his sixth grade year, at the age of 12, UaZit received his first guitar and began teaching himself to play. During his seventh grade year, exceeding the skill set of his peers, UaZit was advanced to play trombone among the eighth grade band. At this point in time, UaZit’s interest in the school band had started to wane. Wishing to progress as guitarist, he asked his middle school band director for a guidance and suggestion of where to take guitar lessons. The directors response was, “there are better career opportunities playing classical music; stick to the trombone.” Though he stuck with playing trombone throughout his own eighth grade year, he quit school band when advancing to the ninth grade.
Entering high school, a brand new world opened up for UaZit. He enrolled in both film photography and video production classes, began writing and publicly performing his own original music, all the while picking up a third instrument, the drum kit. Throughout the high school years of his musicianship, UaZit dipped his hands into an array of musical endeavors, including fronting multiple hardcore/indie bands as well as performing as a solo acoustic artist. He graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 2010 with sights set on further exploring the creative field.
UaZit went on to attend The Art Institute of Indianapolis where he received an Associates Degree of Science in Digital Photography, class of 2013. In the midst of his college experience, UaZit began delving into graphic design and yet another self-taught feat, producing his own music using Propellerhead’s music software Reason.
In April 2016, he released his first project as UaZit titled GRAND ARCHITECT of the UNIVERSE. In October 2016, he released an EP titled bed, bath, and inbetween. Most recently, in April 2017, UaZit released a ten track project titled iuniōrēs.
With over a decade of musical experience, UaZit currently self-produces all original music using a wide and vibrant range of vocal delivery styles within a modern, trip hop oriented realm of sound. With his hand dipped in multiple artistic territories, he has been able to characterize himself not only as a musician, but as a creator.
