We can play soft acoustic chamber/world/jazz music or loud, plugged in dance music, all tailored for your specific event! We love playing multicultural events and can perform in Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, Turkish and more! Our lead singer is also a professional flamenco dancer and can lead the audience in an easy flamenco number ;) We can come as a duo, or up to 6 or more.

Ventanas is a dynamic six-piece world music ensemble based in Toronto, Canada.
With their unique blend of Mediterranean melodies, flamenco dance, contemporary interpretations of ancient ballads and original compositions, Ventanas captivates audiences from around the world and enchants listeners with their vibrant and eclectic performances while highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Canada.
Ventanas is led by the passionate and powerful vocalist-dancer, Tamar Ilana (Jewish-Indigenous), and is influenced by such legendary artists as the Silk Road Ensemble, Paco de Lucía, and Yasmin Levy. Ventanas showcases the exceptional talents of the city's finest world musicians, artfully fusing traditional and modern sounds, resulting in an unforgettable musical experience.
Ventanas has toured Canada, the USA and Colombia, released three studio albums and been nominated for four Canadian Folk Music Awards. They are currently working on their 4th album of all original material and will be touring Spain for the first time in the Fall of 2024.
