Venus is an accomplished theatre and commercial actress, radio host, model and prized poet with a BA in business communications and an MFA in creative writing. She interned with MTV and is an expert regarding the power of words and images. She's opened for Def Poetry on Broadway, is an Austin International poetry slam finalist and was awarded "Most Inspiring Solo Performance" by the Los Angeles Theatre Festival in 2012. She's the author and publisher of four CDs and two books including her best seller "She Rose: on a journey from girl to Goddess." She's a s/hero trainer and facilitates motivational workshops for young women, who want to tell their stories and rise to their fullest potential. Her latest poetry collection "Lyrics for Langston" was endorsed by the Langston Hughes Family Museum. Venus is a star that's down to Earth and she uses her art to promote the importance of principles, diversity, social justice, and peace.
