We were truly blessed to find Carolyne to sing at my Mother's funeral mass last month. My Mother, having been a professional opera chorister herself at Lyric Opera Chicago, we knew we had to have someone Mom would approve of. After considering several amazing candidates, my family agreed, one voice stood out from the rest. It had to be Carolyne. She was prompt and professional. Every request we made, she handled with ease. She sang two of my Mother's favorite arias (Quando men vo and Casta Diva) and she sang both exquisitely. Additionally, Carolyne (all on her own) graciously assisted as cantor for the church organist during the mass which we were greatly appreciative of. Carolyne, thank you so, so much for sharing your talents that day. Mom definitely approved...
A wonderful performance and what a beautiful voice! Thank you so much for being part of our fathers 90th Birthday party! He was delighted!
Fantastic! She was a wonderful singer and gave many of us novice opera listeners a brief explanation of each song. She selected some of the most popular songs so that we would all know them. It made our event all the more special. I would use her again and recommend to anyone.

Carolyne DalMonte, soprano, has been praised for her “lithe and elegant” vocalism. Newly based in Chicago, Illinois, she is quickly gaining recognition in the area. Prior to her cross-country move, Carolyne performed in the New York City area with the North Shore Music Festival on Long Island, where she covered Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. She covered Dorinda (Orlando) and was a featured recitalist in programs with the Cantanti Project, an exciting opera ensemble based in New York City with a focus on early opera.
In the summer of 2016, she joined Opera NEO Music Festival, a young and innovative company dedicated to reenergizing opera. There she appeared as multiple roles in a fully staged production of Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, and performed in numerous opera and musical theatre scenes for a sold-out cabaret performance. In the summer of 2015, Carolyne was a member of the Aspen Opera Theatre Center, where she covered Despina in Aspen’s acclaimed production of Così fan tutte and starred in several Mozart scenes as Pamina, Papagena, and Blondchen. Other recent roles include Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore, and Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte.
An enthusiastic professional ensemble singer and concert soloist, Carolyne is a member of the elite Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Choir in Manhattan, an auxiliary soprano for the LA Master Chorale, and a soprano with the Pacific Chorale. She is a regular soloist and ensemble member with Bach Collegium San Diego, with whom she recently performed solos in King Arthur. Other recent concert solos include Ein Deutsches Requiem, Messiah, Carmina Burana, Fauré's Requiem, Rutter's Requiem, and Bach’s Magnificat. Most recently, Miss DalMonte has been honored to join the ranks of Vocal Artists Management's Emerging Artist Roster for (phone number hidden)1.
Carolyne holds a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy & Performance from Westminster Choir College, and a Bachelors in Voice from the University of Delaware. She is a student of Braeden Harris, with whom she has prepared the full roles of Mimì (La bohème), Ilia (Idomeneo), and the title role of Manon.
Carolyne was raised in suburban Philadelphia in a family that nurtured and supported her passionate love of music from an early age. In addition to singing, Carolyne is also a proficient pianist and a dedicated private voice and piano teacher in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago.
