Watch Them Rot is a metalcore band that, once experienced, will undoubtedly stick with you. The band is notorious for their "in your face" performance that embody the term "raw entertainment." The music itself is a captivating blend of metal style that ranges from hardcore to melodic death metal and thrash, which provides listeners with a variety pack capable of fulfilling any metal plate. Their performance are just as intense as they are interactive, so whether you're producing massive amount of wind sheer with your head banging, being thrown around in the pit, or dancing like a lunatic; the only thing you'll be incapable of; is standing still. On stage or blasting through your stere, the powerful energy of Watch Them Rot, much like a drug, will be left coursing through your veins.
The Ohio based band was formed in the spring of 2010 with the purpose of introducing their rendition of heavy metal to the world. Like all up coming bands, the first of many goals for Watch Them Rot, was to attract a fan base. With self promotion and performing alongside other well know acts, such as their legendary neighbors ( skeletonwitch) , crowd response and returning fans exceeded their own expectations. After building a strong following in Southeastern Ohio, they hit the studio in March 2013 to begin recording their first EP (In Hell).
The four track EP (In Hell) was engineered, recorded, and mastered by Travis Lautenschlager in 2013 and released in 2014. It features some of Watch Them Rot most powerful songs, including Intention to manipulate and title track In Hell.
