I reached out to Wendy to perform at our dad's celebration of life. The booking was easy and the cost was was fair. She arrived early and was easy to talk to. Perky and full of smiles. She checked with us during the celebration a couple times to make sure we were happy with the music see chose and the volume level. It was perfect. She fit right in with the crowd and was a welcome addition by all to the event. We were completely satisfied and hope for the possibility of having her at future events.

Wendy is fantastic.
We hold an annual haunted conference for 130 people, and Wendy played for our Welcome Mixer. What a wonderful, dynamic performance. She somehow manages to provide haunting, beautiful violin music, but enables the participants to chat at their tables while she entertains…and entertain she does.
Our attendees were in awe. People just walking by were in awe. Her musical competency, her stage and strolling presence while performing, her careful attention to delivering exactly what we wanted, and then far exceeding our expectations was so professional.
But the ultimate arbiter is our attendees, and our attendees LOVED the performance. It actually set such a perfect tone, the rest of the weekend flowed like magic. Well, it wasn’t magic. It was Wendy. Really, whether you’re in business, or hosting a social or Organizational event. Retain Wendy, explain to her what you want, put her out front, and watch the magic happen.

Wendy has performed for the Verona Downtown Farmers Market approximately once a month for 2 seasons. She has also played at my indoor markets. Her music is lively and wonderful and I always look forward to the days she will be playing. Wendy is always on time, prepared, and enthusiastic. She plays for the entire time slotted (with a short break) and never complains about fatiguing. All ages love to hear her play and she engages the audience well. She is VERY talented!

Wendy Lynn Markus (Wend O’Lynn) is a skilled and passionate violinist who specializes in Irish and folk music as well as uniquely reimagined versions of modern pop songs. Her performances are entirely instrumental, allowing the rich and vibrant tones of the violin to take center stage. Accompanied by original backing tracks, Wendy showcases the fun and lively spirit of the violin through a variety of traditional and contemporary sounds, infused with energy and joy.
Wendy has been a musician for most of her life, learning piano, drums, and violin at a young age, and professionally as a member of Madison rock band Sunspot since 1996. She has also performed with a wide variety of other acts including: Les Smith and Fresh Horses (Garth Brooks tribute), Penelope’s Thrill, Michael Alexander and Big Whiskey, Rip, Tantric, and Tent Show Troubadours.
