He specializes in various fiddle styles (bluegrass, Irish, country, old-time, western swing, gypsy jazz). Common classical pieces are also featured. Cody has over fifteen years of experience playing in various venues and handles any event from small to large with professionalism.

Cody is available to play your event as a solo artist or with a variety of highly trained ensembles, catering specifically to the needs of the event. He plays with several bands of various genres and will provide you with the best options for the right price. The ensembles are able to accommodate a laid back garden party or wedding, dazzle and entertain your clients at a corporate event, or bring the party at a wedding reception or private event. Cody will work to provide you with the ensemble best suited to your needs.
Solo: He is available to perform as a solo musician playing everything from various fiddle styles (bluegrass, old-time, country waltz material, slow Irish airs and up tempo jigs and reels, jazz/swing) to classical violin.
Duet/Trio: Cody has various options available: duet/trio (with guitar, banjo, or mandolin).
Cody also has a full band (4 - 5 piece) of top tier players at his disposal to deliver a high energy performance.
WestWend: Jonathan & Wendy Maness front this versatile ensemble. This band is available as a duo, trio, four and five piece ensemble. No matter the configuration the ensemble can feature a variety of music: bluegrass, country, folk (think James Taylor), swing/jazz, classic rock, Irish, and pop. (Knoxville, TN Based)
Jordan Foster Band: This option comes as a four and five piece and consists of acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, fiddle, banjo, mandolin and country harmonies. The band features a variety of country covers (90s country back through 60s) as well as classic rock covers. (Knoxville, TN Based)
Tennessee Stifflegs: This classic country and western swing band features the likes of Hank Williams Sr, Bob Wills, and Lefty Frizzel and more. This option is available as duo, trio, four and five piece band. (Knoxville, TN Based)
Originally from Pittsboro, Indiana, Cody now makes his home in Knoxville, Tennessee. Cody is an award winning live music fiddler steeped in the Bluegrass and Old-Time fiddling styles of the Appalachian Highlands and their parent style of Irish fiddling. He is a graduate of both Johnson University and Milligan University. Cody has played with a variety of Bluegrass, Old-Time, Country, and pop bands during the past ten years. Most notable among them, the legendary Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys. He has performed on the Grand Ole Opry and on the Discovery channel and has garnered a number of ribbon wins at various fiddle contests. Cody has performed as far north as PEI, Canada, as far south as Belize, and as far east as Ireland. In addition to the Grand Ole Opry, Cody has played large festivals such as Floydfest and Bristol Rhythm & Roots, grand private parties and weddings at the Biltmore Mansion and Atlanta Aquarium and various other events small and large.
