Wheelhouse is a premium high energy pop-country cover band. With both female and male lead vocals, a driving rhythm section, velvet vocal harmonies and breathtaking instrumentalists, Wheelhouse gives audiences the excitement of a concert experience. We are most suitable for outdoor events (fairs, markets, rodeos), barn dances, and cowboy weddings. Wheelhouse also provides musical entertainment for charities, corporate, municipal, and governmental events, as well as private affairs which are held in public or ranch locations. We are our own sound and light company, and can provide professional medium format PA services (for an additional fee).
Wheelhouse band did a great job at our event. They were easy to work with and professional.
Response from Wheelhouse:
Thank you FFA. We look forward to working with you again.
Our neighborhood has had Wheelhouse perform twice now and each show has been a smash hit. Fun music, clean, family friendly songs, and great stage presence. Looking forward to our next neighborhood concert!
We had the privilege to have The Wheelhouse Band perform at our annual FFA Blowout BBQ this year. They literally took our event to the next level. Our guests had so much fun and the dance floor was NEVER without a full crowd dancing, singing and completely enjoying themselves. Thank you, thank you, thank you Wheelhouse, you guys ROCK!
Tom and his crew played a fundraiser we put on July first to support local kids. The music was so great , they played songs from all different country eras and a little bit of rock. Perfect combination to get guests on the dance floor. And really who can resist Friends in Low places? The amount of time the band put into the set up and break down was so crazy. I would love to have them play again at other events. Thank you guys so very much. You all were fantastic!
Response from Wheelhouse:
Thank you Codi ... We love serving our community. Hope to have another opportunity to work with you.
Wheelhouse was truly a great surprise for us here at San Joaquin Country Club. Great music, song selections, and very professional.
Response from Wheelhouse:
Thank you Tommy ... Look forward to working with the Country Club Crew again.
Tom and his crew were absolutely amazing! They played for my military retirement party. Tom went out of his way to make sure that the performance was just right. They received rave reviews from all the party goers. If you have to choose one band for your event, you absolutely should make it Wheelhouse!!
Response from Wheelhouse:
Thank you Jon. We enjoyed performing for you and your guests.
Our family hired Wheelhouse for my father's 80th birthday barn party where our guests' ages ranged from 2 to 85. The music was outstanding and very entertaining to all and it really made the party. We didn't want the music to stop. On top of that, Wheelhouse was exceptionally professional. They arrived well before the party to have everything set up before the guests arrived and they were patient and courteous. I would highly recommend this band for a high quality entertainment experience.
This band has a great sound and will keep you dancing all night long. The played a great mix of country music. Great musicians and vocalist.
My wife and I had a lot of fun. This band kicks!
I enjoyed the great country tunes. Fun music to dance to.
These guys made me want to dance; what a fun band!

Most folks attending our shows will develop the urge to dance. And it usually spreads through out the audience. A line dancing frenzy is a common sight, followed by out-bursts of hootin' and hollarin'.
If you are booking us for a wedding, we have learned that frequent communications is a must. Wheelhouse can prepare special songs when given at least 60 days notice. We can also MC the event, but that takes coordination with your wedding planner, or we'll need a script and time to discuss the order of events.
Wheelhouse also takes care of the sound system, as well as the stage and dance floor lighting. We have roaming wireless microphones so that guests can offer best wishes to the hosting party.
We urge brides and/or wedding planners to communicate with us directly by telephone or by email.
Wheelhouse is a 9 member cover band, emphasizing multi-part harmonies and playing songs right off the pop-music charts. In pop-country music, we cover artists such as Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington, Corbin Easton, Garth Brooks, and many more. We also cover many contemporary hits which are current favorites. Our song selections are programmed for one objective ... make people want to get up and dance.
The band conducts business in a professional manner; is timely, and dependable. We clearly understand that for commercial venues, our job is to attract and retain customers through-out the performance to help make money. For event planners, it's our job to be highly entertaining to help ensure that guests have a good time and a memorable experience.
We are also a community minded band, willing to donate performances at little or no cost to help fund raise for non-political, non-religious 501(c) organizations. We do place a limit on the number of free performances per year, so if you are a legitimate charity, please call to find out about availability.
Wheelhouse maintains an amplification system, suitable for audiences up to 1500 participants. If your audience will likely exceed that number, Wheelhouse can arrange to bring in an additional professional sound company.
We have our own sound engineer, who monitors our systems, and provides special effects as necessary. If a sound system is provided by the hosting organization or sound company, our engineer is happy to work with you, but does need an area to manage effects.
STAGE: Being a larger band with lots of equipment, Wheelhouse requires a stage size minimum of 32 feet length (stage front, left to right) by 24 feet depth (front to back). The stage should be elevated at least 18 inches off the ground, and have a stair or long ramp.
POWER: Wheelhouse requires a minimum of three (3) 20-Amp circuits coming from a main electrical panel of at least 100 amps. Each circuit must be properly grounded. The power outlets must be no more than 50 feet from the performance area (stage). Each circuit must be dedicated strictly to the performance area; in other words, each circuit must not have any motorized appliances receiving power while the band is setting up or performing. Motors generate "radio frequency" noise in the amplification units.
STAGING & GROUND SURFACE: Cement, asphalt, and grassy areas are suitable surfaces for stage placement. Dirt surfaces and dusty conditions are hazardous to our amplification units and unsuitable for performance.
PROXIMATY: If Wheelhouse is providing the sound system, we must get our box truck reasonably close to the stage area for unloading.
SETUP: If Wheelhouse is providing the PA system, setup and soundcheck requires a total of 5 hours. If Wheelhouse is NOT providing the PA system, band setup and soundcheck requires only 2 hours.
TRUSS & LIGHTING: If Wheelhouse is contracted to bring stage lighting, proof of event liability insurance must be provided. Wheelhouse can arrange liability coverage, but the costs will be directly passed along to the event organizer in addition to our performance and sound fees, and must be fully paid 30 days in advance.
BREAKDOWN: Please allow Wheelhouse 2 hours to breakdown and stow equipment for transportation.
EVENT DAY LEAD TIMES: To avoid rushed setups, resolve any technical issues, and sound check the band, please allow for area access 8 hours in advance. For example, if your event begins at 5:00pm, Wheelhouse should have access to the event site by 9:00am.
For wedding receptions, Wheelhouse can provide a separate secondary PA system for announcements and toasts. The system contains three wireless microphones for roaming guests.
We optionally provide recorded background music (of your choice) for cocktails and meals prior to the show.
We also offer post-performance DJ services for late night guests. Stage lighting for the band is part of our basic service. Large scale professional LED stage and arena lighting is available through our professional sound and light company.
On our website, we maintain a list of important factors you should consider for bigger events and productions. We also provide technical information (electrical and logistics) for event centers and management.

Wheelhouse frequently reviews the Country Top 40, looking for songs that are popular and get folks movin' their feet.
* Elevated stages must have ramp access with no more than a 10 degree slope, and a secondary staircase on the opposite side of the stage. This is for safety purposes.
* For events with over 500 persons in attendance, security and insurance must be provided.
* Our equipment arrives by box truck (17 to 24 feet). To setup quickly, we need to get the truck as close to the performance area as possible.
* Technical and logistic information is provided on our website for event location managers and technicians.
* To maintain the magic of the event, and avoid sound checks in front of guests, Wheelhouse needs access to the performance area 4 hours in advance. We also require 90 minutes to breakdown after the event.
* Wheelhouse will only play in locations where there is a hard surface or stage. We can not play on dirt or grass surfaces (it ruins our equipment). See our website for more information.
* Three (3) 20 amp electrical circuits are required; Four circuits if the full light show is ordered. Motor driven appliances cannot be on the same circuit.
* Because Wheelhouse is a 9-member band (with lots of equipment), we need a stage that is at least 32'x24'.
