Will Play and Nina Mars provide great original world- jazz-folk music (with some covers) that creates a fun, upbeat experience for all ages. You might want to rhumba to a Latin tune, or try your luck with a polka!
Our music is perfect for art openings, receptions, birthdays, campfires, weddings, parties, etc. We have been delighting audiences for more than 25 years in the HV/NYC-area, and are happy to perform either instrumentals or songs - whichever best suits the event. We can also provide music anywhere outdoors, thanks to our battery-operated equipment.
Our rates are affordable and we’ll do our best to work with your budget.

Two professional musicians who show up on time, play for the agreed upon time, able to provide battery-operated amps for outdoor events, keep the volume to where it's wanted, all with a smile! We love what we do and it translates into a good time for the audience!
Will Play and Nina Mars have been delighting audiences in the NYC and Hudson Valley area for many years. Combining folk with world and jazz music, their style is unique yet accessible. They have performed in a wide range of venues from CBGBs to the Knitting Factory in NYC and the Bearsville Theater and The Colony Cafe in Woodstock, NY.
They have also performed at many galleries, including the WAAM in Woodstock, Art Omi, Saugerties Performing Arts Center, Unframed Artists Gallery, East Village Collective, PhotoSensualis, Varga Gallery, Willow Gallery, and many more.
Other performances include events such as the Kingston Snowflake Festival, June Jamboree (Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary), NYC Marathon, Concerts on the Village Green, Kingston Farmer's Market, Woodstock Farmer's Market, Smorgasburg, and Walkway over the Hudson.
We have battery- operated amps in case you want to throw a party in a field or barn!
We usually provide all our own gear, unless the event is a large, outdoor venue.
