Michael Manzanet is a former member of Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere in Las Vegas. For his first five years with Cirque du Soleil, Michael’s specialty was the bungee trapeze act. His choreography and acrobatic contributions to Mystere have been performed since its doors opened in 1993 and are still wowing audiences today.
Michael shifted his attention to duo hand balancing and spent the next 12 months creating the award-winning act Libra. Michael has performed this act on 3 continents and won top honor at the 2000 Daidogei World Cup Festival held in Shizoka, Japan. This prestigious, invitation-only festival brings together international magic, comedy, acrobatic and avant-garde acts for one of the largest performing arts competitions in the world.
When Michael’s popularity and success attracted a number of former Cirque du Soleil artists looking to head in a new direction, WonderWorld Entertainment was born. Since its founding in 2000, WonderWorld has established itself as a sought after company that produces quality entertainment for corporate and special events and true to its name, does so worldwide.
Montage set design provides a beautiful and enchanting backdrop to the physical lyricism of the performers. Ever-changing textures and colors projected on stretch fabric walls enhance the beauty of each performance.
