Xavier Bowling has been playing the cello since he was 11 years old. Playing at weddings, formal dinners, award ceremonies, and family gigs, as well as at big concert halls like Yardley Hall, Helzberg Hall, and the Lied Center. Xavier provides virtuosic solo cello playing with a beautiful tone and vibrato. His repertoire ranges from classical and romantic pieces, to contemporary and modern works. He's an alumni of the Kansas City Youth Symphony and the Missouri All-State Orchestra.
Xavier is pursuing a business management degree and a minor in music at the University of Kansas with the intent to go to law school after. He will be playing for the University of Kansas Symphony Orchestra for the next 4 years.
Technical requirements: chair, ample lighting, and enough space for cello and full range of arm motion.
