Hi, I’m YUKI, a Japanese recorder flute player. I’m playing the recorder since I was 5 years old and always the recorder has been my best friend. What I’d like to do is just MAKE YOU FEEL RELIVED AND RELAX with my recorder sound. It would be wonderful if I could play anytime when you need WARMTH, REST AND HELING, especially your loved one’s MEMORIAL or Church event. Born and raised in Tokyo.
YUKI is a Japanese Recorder Player based in Los Angeles.
The encounter with the most famous Japanese recorder player, Minoru Yoshizawa made a significant impact on her life, and she ended up being under the tutelage of Mr. Yoshizawa, one of the most famous Japanese for over 25 years. YUKI has won the gold prize in the solo artist category in the Japanese Nationwide Recorder Competition three times.
Yuki has been working as an actress as Yuki Shibamoto in TV and Films for 15 years successfully, but she also devoted her time to growing her career as a professional recorder player. In recent years, she continued to make recorder music from art, landscapes, people, sunlight...and even cheese to this day. She doesn't call what she does expressing herself through music but sees herself acting as an "intermediary" between the recorder and the medium.
She released her original songs for the recorder constantly, her debut album "Time Remedies 1" and 2nd album "No-Mu" are on most streaming platforms. Performed at the Rewarding award Closing night at Asian World Film Festival.
