My audience and i have a good time because we both are fluent in music. We share a love for the art form of song expression. I love to improvise small talk in between songs and create positive banter with whomever is within earshot. My priority is to play and perform my original songs and occasional covers mostly from a bygone era of 80‘s and 90's rock. Some of my favorites to cover are 'The Beautiful Ones' by Prince, Pat Benetars 'Love is a Battelfield', Karma Police by Radiohead and whaterver is catching my ear at the moment.
Its not a party unless everyones having fun.
I intend to make you feel/see something you had not previously experienced.

Detroit native Johnson currently lives back in her hometown, but she is also a distinctive singer-songwriter who enriched the Charlotte music scene. Through the 2010s, Johnson developed her distinctive acoustic guitar-based Motor City grunge sound at open mics throughout the Queen City.
Johnson and Young crossed paths back in those days, and have kept in contact. Starting in the winter of 2021, they began collaborating as dynamic rock duo Cope Fiend, coupling Johnson’s songwriting and inimical sound with Young’s musicality.
“The name Cope Fiend sparks from [Young] and I talking on the phone — we’re just trying to get through this,” Johnson says. “We’re obsessed with coping, getting through it and getting to the other side of whatever it is.”
“It’s perseverance,” Young says. “This is the time to change old habits.”
An honest and thought-provoking lyricist, Cope Fiend mixes folk melodies with rock and punk rhythms fleshing out a semi new hybrid of folk/pop song.
The simplified version of CF comes with an electric/acoustic Epiphone guitar that has a rich bright tone with or without p.a. (public address system) and the front-woman chief song-writer and vocalist, in suitable attire. No amplification system and no other instrumentation besides voice, microphone and her guitar.
The deluxe version comes with audio equipment, multiple mics, mic stands, and zoom handheld audio recorder to digitally record and possibly distribute a live show with accompaniment drummer Percussionist and bandmate Marlon Young.
Depending on venue's preference and artist payout a full band is optional. CF occasionally works with multi-instrumentalists horns, bassist, and percussive musicians.
