We met with several DJ's prior to choosing Gary Rich to be our musician and DJ for our wedding. From the first meeting with him, we knew he was our guy. He was professional and seemed dedicated to helping us having the best wedding we could have. While my husband and I knew we wanted great music, we had no idea how to structure the music for a wedding. He explained about a wedding should have four musical themes, ceremony, cocktails, dinner and dancing. We gave him four theme ideas and Gary took our recommendations and ran with them. Gary has an amazing ability to cater his music to a wide variety of people and kept everyone on the dance floor, young and old until late in the evening. He went above and beyond for us, even willing to do overtime so that he could keep the party going. Two months later, we are still getting compliments on the music. In the craziness of planning a wedding, Gary made everything easy. We feel so fortunate to have found him. Hire this guy, he's amazing!!

We had About Music Pro provide music for our wedding a in January this year and we are so glad we chose them!! Gary was our music performer and director for our wedding this year. He provided a string quartet for the ceremony, a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and a 7-piece band with a DJ/MC plus lighting for the reception. Gary was hands on every aspect of the music and agenda. Our wedding was incredible our guest raved about how great the music was! Our wedding was on a weekend of a rainstorm, which caused a lot of stress and worry. After speaking with Gary, he was able to give us reassurance and confidence that all the entertainment and equipment will be just fine and that should be the least of our worries. The day of the wedding everything worked out even better as imagined and Gary handled the entertainment outstandingly despite the weather. We booked About Music Pro for our wedding music in January and couldn't have been happier!! Gary and his team are awesome! We had guitar and violin for the ceremony they did every songs we requested were played flawlessly, it was so beautiful. I had tears in my eyes as I walked down the isle. Gary was our DJ/MC for the night and he rocked it! The reception was like we were at a club in the city- but better! Gary took our requests and also mixed his own songs based on the very eclectic mix of songs we had. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! Our only regret? The night had to end. You must go with this crew - you won't be disappointed!

Gary did an amazing job at our wedding. He was so easy to work with, very positive and re-arranged his schedule to accommodate our needs. From the moment we first made contact with him months before the wedding date he was professional, easy to communicate with, very upbeat and was hands on during the planning process. He checked in often the weeks leading up to our wedding and totally got what we were telling him we wanted. He got it perfect! During the wedding several guests said to us both how they really liked the music choices and the vibe of the night. That was all Gary. Our wedding day was awesome thanks to About Music Pro!. There were a few things that I wanted to make sure we didn't skimp on and that was our wedding DJ and musicians. I wanted to make sure that our music was unique and special to us. From the ceremony through the reception, and I'd be able to connect with my DJ and musicians on musical taste. After looking into About Music Pro, I had good feeling about Gary the owner. He was so responsive and helpful through the entire process, any question I had he would answer in a heartbeat. We talked briefly about what kind of music I liked and he suggested Guitar and violin for the ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ for the reception. That worked incredibly.
We talked with Gary about one month before, he understood right away what we wanted and was so easy to work with. This whole process was so easy and our wedding day was a blast. The music was spot on and the dance crowd was happening all night. You know you have a good DJ when he got our conservative German parents onto the dance floor (never expected that). The Blue Daddy’s band was amazing! They made our wedding so personal and special, and we absolutely loved having them be a part of our special day. Gary really helped us figure out the timeline, our ceremony music, dance music, and everything in between. We used About Music Pro for our wedding a couple weeks ago. The process was very simple. The timing of the ceremony and reception music was perfect. The music selections he added fit in perfectly with our style. Our DJ/MC was great! He announced all the events that made the party flow nicely. Most of people at our wedding were on the in the dance floor throughout the night. One of the best parts was he played the songs we wanted and left the ones off that we did not want played. Awesome experience!

We hosted a wedding in downtown San Diego this past month. We used About Music Pro and could not have been happier. We had Gary as our DJ and musician he was amazing. He was very professional and high energy DJ and musician. He had absolutely everyone on the dance floor. Including my 90-year-old grand mother. He kept our guests on the dance floor all night, and everyone had a great time! As a company they were very easy to work with -- specifically Gary Rich. He was helpful and very resourceful he match us to a DJ and musicians with all of the qualities we were looking for. There was a point in the wedding that somebody said to me, "WOW !! -- I don't think anybody's NOT on the dance floor right now." Enough said. They were awesome!

My husband and I were really excited to have Gary as our DJ/MC at our wedding. We saw him at a friends wedding and knew he would do an awesome job! He put a lot of effort and priority in making sure we had a great party for our friends and family. When we arrived, Gary Rich pronounced all of the wedding party names correctly and smoothly transitioned from our entrance song to our first dance song. He picked the perfect music for our Rat Pack/crooner request. He did a great job adjusting the schedule when we got a little behind, but also kept things moving along at a good pace. Our friends are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding, and Gary was a huge reason for that.

I am so glad my husband and I chose About Music Pro for all of our music at our wedding. Gary, the owner, was so quick to get back to me whenever I needed information or suggestions. It was great that they had live and DJ combinations packages so I could get all my music in one spot. Our string trio for the ceremony and cocktail were awesome! Awesome Music Company! These guys did an outstanding job! With Gary managing the music and the coordination side and DJ Ed performing the DJ/MC duties, we had many compliments about the music! Gary was extremely responsive to our input! Ed was adept at managing requests, and a wiz on the tables. It was so great to relax at our wedding and have fun knowing everything was taken care of!

My husband and I Hired About Music Pro for our wedding this year and had opportunity to work with Gary and his 5 piece band they were by far, the best wedding band we have seen out of the many wedding and events we have attended over the years. Gary and his band take their work very seriously and it shows in the results they get on the dance floor. There is a unique blend of fun and professional in there performance. My husband and I had such a great experience working with Gary from About Music Pro DJs and musicians for our wedding! About Music Pro was so helpful and fun to work with! Our Band, "The Blue Daddy’s", were awesome, and Gary Rich was so flexible and helpful and organized. In spite of my lack of direction, Gary and his band members made our wedding exactly what we'd imagined it would be. Gary Rich delivered nothing less than perfection at my May 29th 2016 wedding. Preparation with him involved nearly countless emails between the two of us, some of which I was definitely embarrassed to send at the most stressful points of wedding planning - but throughout it all Gary was calm, cool, and collected. We hired About Music pro for our wedding in May 7th 2016. They were absolutely awesome throughout the process. We worked most closely with Gary and he was excellent. We met by phone with him twice, and also found him to be very responsive by email. We had lots of questions and even some special requests that were all taken care of, such as asking him to shorten and loop our processional music. Our guests loved his DJing and his professionalism in making all the announcements. He also played phenomenal piano for our dinner hour--we received tons of compliments and were so happy with the service.

Gary Rich is a wonderful guitarist, pianist and DJ ... I didn’t have a lot of experience hiring a musician and DJ and Gary made it easy! From the first time we met I knew he was the right choice for our wedding. He was very helpful with our agenda and choosing our songs. When it came to our wedding day he played classical guitar for our ceremony and reggae guitar for the cocktail hour. He then switched hats and became our DJ/MC for the grand entrance and first dance. During the dinner hour, he played piano and all of our favorite jazz standards that we had requested. We were blown away by his versatility and professionalism. I would recommend him for all events. Gary is a wonderful musician and DJ/MC He preformed at our wedding and did an incredible job playing all our request songs and really kept the party going. It was a great stress-free experience! He arrived on time and set up quickly and really helped us coordinate the whole day from the wedding through the reception. Gary played the most beautiful music at our wedding ceremony. Hearing the guitar as people started to arrive had such a calming effect. I knew we were in good hands! Most of what he played was classical works, which we requested, and it really made our ceremony feel unique.

I had many ideas and truly appreciated their input. They made it easy to coordinated such a Hugh event. The whole event was seamless because our guests had such a great time!

Best DJ and musician ever!! DJ/musician Gary was one of our best wedding choices. So many people complemented us about him during our wedding. He gave us great advice throughout the planning process, He also advised us on which songs that we requested would be the best dance songs. He also recommended several top 40 and classic songs to insure that all age groups would have a great time. He was very accommodating throughout the whole process and had a good plan for ensuring a successful evening. He helped us with the agenda and timing of all the segments. We had About Music Pro do all the music for our wedding and reception, and they made the night so much fun! All of our guests were commenting about how talent and professionalism they exhibited. These guys are awesome! They provided a guitarist for our ceremony and DJ for our wedding and were professional, affordable and just awesome! About Music Pro did a fantastic job and everyone had fun and danced all night We had a large variety of guests, some older people who like to dance to Latin music and swing, and a big younger crowd who wanted club music. Gary Rich walked the line beautifully, and everyone had a blast. He also kept the volume just right - loud enough to keep the party going, but low enough that the older people could hold a conversation. My husband and I had crazy high expectations for the music at our wedding. Gary, from About music Pro, surpassed them with flying colors. We had a guitar and violin duo for the ceremony and cocktails. We had multiple guests ask us how we were able to find such a great DJ and musical duo with such great music selection. We found the perfect wedding DJ/MC! My husband is European and I am American, so it was very important for us to find someone who was familiar with music that would appeal to our multicultural guests. And with all that said, prior to the wedding, Gary was amazing at getting back to us in a timely manner, at helping us find music for our ceremony, and on the day of the wedding Gary was great at providing the best music throughout the day and at handling unexpected situations like a cousin wanting to do a 4 minute dance solo during dinner.

I can't say enough how awesome About Music Productions are. Every single guest that attended our wedding said they had an AMAZING time. The staff at the venue said they haven't had a wedding like ours in such a long time. I partly think that this is because of About Music Productions. I didn't sit down once. I took a moment to survey the room during the reception and EVERYONE was dancing even my dad, and I've never seen my dad even tap a toe before. If I ever need a DJ and a musician in the future, I will be calling Gary at About Music Productions. Thank you guys for helping us great such an unforgettable day!

We highly recommend Gary Rich as a DJ/MC. From the beginning, Gary was always very responsive and extremely professional. We met a month before the wedding to go over all the details and Gary was flexible and listened to all our requests. On the day of the wedding, the music and flow of everything went so smoothly. The music was great!! Gary also Emceed the reception and all went great. About Music Productions was fabulous throughout the wedding planning process. We had Gary Rich who was extremely organized and efficient the day of our wedding. He played all the songs we had planned out, as well some others that were perfect. He fielded requests and was very responsive the night of the wedding without being in your face or cheesy. We had classical Guitar and Violin at the ceremony, Jazz Piano and Sax for cocktails and a 4-piece Band with DJ/MC for the reception. We were so happy with the music and overall experience. You know it's a good event when people are asking for our musicians name and number after the wedding. We would 100% recommend About Music Productions weddings, specifically Gary Rich Musician, bandleader and DJ.

We just used Gary, for our wedding and he was FANTASTIC! Hiring a Band was the scariest part of our wedding because we didn't really know where to start. We knew that we didn't want a traditional wedding, and when we found About Music Pro we knew we'd found a good company! We met with Gary and discussed the process as well as songs we liked, and he helped us with our time line as well as finding songs for certain events during the evening. Absolutely the best wedding music imaginable. My wife Sue and I got married last week in San Diego. Gary from About Music came highly recommended and for obvious good reason. It was so refreshing to have a professional who had everything under control. Gary is so polite and wonderful, his years of experience lead us through the whole ceremony and reception and of course, everything went perfectly. We Had Gary play classical guitar for the ceremony, then some of our Beatles favorites for the cocktail hour on guitar. He did DJ for the reception and added live Piano for the dinner hour. He did the whole event himself. The whole nights music was perfect. Thank you so much!

At the last minute the band for our wedding reception canceled on us. I was paralyzed! Thank goodness for Gary @ About Music Productions. He saved the day. His five piece band was extraordinary. They payed lots of great dance music and made it so upbeat and fun! He also was the master of ceremonies at our party and did a great job keeping the flow of the party going.

We were thoroughly impressed with About Music Productions at our wedding. What was unique and great about working with Gary, was he played Classical Guitar for our ceremony, then played Jazz Piano for the cocktail hour, and then did DJ for the reception.
