Accord

Hailing from the vibrant city of Philadelphia, PA, Accord's journey began as youngsters in 1994 with the Dehaney brothers and their cousin Lydell Baynard. And today, Accord is a true example of brotherhood and family, as the group now consist of two sets of cousins, Silburn Dehaney, Jamal Todd, Lydell Baynard (1st Set), Rayshawn Davidson, Gary Dawkins, and Adrian Chambers (2nd Set).

Recently in January 2024, Accord had the distinct honor of performing their heartfelt rendition of the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” at the iconic Filmore Philadelphia for the Inauguration celebration of Mayor Elect Cherelle Parker. Members of Accord have had the privilege to sing with renowned artist like Maurette Brown-Clark, Byron Cage, and Philly’s own Jermaine Dolly. While Accords musical influences come from genre's like gospel, contemporary Christian, R &B land Iconic groups like Take 6, Naturally 7, Boyz ll Men, The Gaither Vocal Band, and Acappella, their music definitely has broad appeal for all the ages.

With each performance and recording, Accord strives to deepen their impact, inviting listeners to join them on their continued voyage of faith, love, and the joy of music.
