Irish musician 'Jim Brady' wrote "Across the Pond is for real. These lads will assault you with authenticity and pure spirit of Irish music. A breath of fresh air in a genre over-saturated with cut-rate Dropkick-wannabe tripe! Irish traditional music is very much alive with Across the Pond!
Across the Pond was one of the first vendors we booked for our event, and that's simply because we knew right away they'd be the perfect fit. Dan is quick, responsive, and pleasant, and we felt confident they'd put on a good show.
Good show is an understatement! They showed up, sounded great in the tent, and kept the party lively all night long. When a sudden summer thunderstorm threatened to roll through, Dan was on it, keeping an eye on the radar while not losing a beat onstage. And as the storm began, they switched seamlessly to an acoustic set, wandering amongst tables and giving a real pub feel. The dance floor was lively, the band members were each so pleasant and talented, and we were sad to see them go. As the event wrapped, several guests came up to me and asked if we could have another party with the same band. We're so glad we booked Across the Pond, and can't wait to have an excuse to bring them back to play again.
Response from Across the Pond:
Kelsey,
Thanks again for your kindness and kind words. I am so happy the photographer captured the acoustic set!
All the best to you and Bobby,
Dan & Across the Pond
Across the Pond did an amazing job setting the atmosphere for our renaissance wedding!! They learned very special songs with a short notice and absolutely set the Shire mood to match our imagination. Family and guests all complimented the band choice and felt it was a unique wedding to remember. Thank you Across the Pond for being personable, professional and putting on an outstanding performance! Highly recommend booking them for any Celtic wedding.
Across the Pond performed perfectly for our event. We truely enjoyed their selection of celtic dinner music and then after dinner music. They were really flexible to work with. Give them a shot! They were great!
Everyone very much enjoyed the music played by the Across the Pond Band. We had them play on St. Patrick's Day as part of our church's celebration. They did a wonderful job for us.
This Irish/Celtic band exceeded our expectations. They learned several new songs for our daughter's wedding. They were prompt, professional, and the music was AMAZING!! They played for the wedding and the cocktail hour. They were a delight, and even wore their kilts! Couldn't be happier with this band and the quality service they provided! True Gentlemen and a Lady!! Thank you Across the Pond!!

We have a long list of guests musicians, Irish step dancers and dance schools we have worked with. As a result, we can tailor our music to practically anything you'd like. We had a world-class step dancer teach the wedding couple a choreographed dance for their wedding the month before, then taught some simple dances to everyone at the reception. We have learned dozens of special musical pieces for weddings over the years. Our goal is to make your event as special and memorable as possible through music or music and dance. We work hard to make your event special.
We will work with you to develop a program of music for your wedding or other event, with no obligation to book us until you feel ready to do so. Our product is good, and if we cannot sell it, then shame on us. If it is not exactly what you are looking for, then we will have no hard feelings if you do not book us.
