Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Alex Feldman began playing the drums and pursuing music as his life's passion at the age of 13. He played in various local bands throughout high school, and later majored in music at UCSC. After college, he continued to gig around the Bay Area, most notably with the cherished Oakland Indie pop outfit Audrye Sessions. While pursuing various musical opportunities, he continued to broaden his musical knowledge and capabilities under the guidance of renowned drum master Chuck Brown.
In 2012 he relocated to New York City, where he is currently working as a freelance musician as well as with the bands Kissing is a Crime and Museyroom.
In 2017 he toured the US and Europe with The Drums, during which he performed at major music festivals such as Lollapalooza, FYF, and Corona Capital.
He has continued to study privately with Matt Johnson (St. Vincent, Jeff Buckley), jazz master Carl Allen, SNL drummer Shawn Pelton, and John Riley.
