I've hired Asher and the Ben-Or Jazz Ensemble to play for an event in 2018 at the launch of our new condo building's art show, and the group was so marvelous I had to have them back again to play my next mingle. The music is ideal for a sophisticated crowd vibe - they're top tier talent - whether you're looking to listen closely to a main stage show or enjoy a meal or schmooze with an elegant ambiance. My company has also continued to hire Asher & company (as duet/trio/quartet) for more casual parties as well, the sound goes over great on a rooftop!

A lifelong New Yorker, I've been a music lover since the age of 12 and have been a professional working guitarist since age 18. With a BFA in Jazz Studies from the City University of New York, my background is in classic jazz of the 40s-60s, in additional to affinity for Hot Jazz or "Gypsy Jazz", inspired by Django Reinhardt.
