Ayanna the Soulful Rose Songstress provides an "On the Go Entertainment" singing with professional tracks for smaller events, and a 7-piece band called Houstonz Own for bigger events. She sings oldies but goodies, and serenades her patrons with standard jazz classics such as "It had to be you", "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole and many more. Ayanna sings melodic tunes such as the smooth and jazzy "Cruising" by Smokey Robinson and tunes that will keep your fingers snapping and feet tapping to the beat like "Brown-eyed Girl, and Lionel Richey's "All Night Long" and many more. To audition her for your next event, come to Denis' Seafood, Ayanna performs live every Thursday and Friday.
I have heard the "Soulful Rose on several occassions. She has the command of the stage, and spiritual fire with each rendition she sings. Her stylish vocal sounds are all her own.
