Had the band out for my 60th birthday party during the hurricane rain sept 28th. Did not disappoint. The crowd wasn’t as big as anticipated but the music was better . Super nice and friendly and awesome musicians and vocalist. I listened to several so called bluegrass bands that were a lot more money and not near the quality. They take good ole country songs and add that bluegrass beat. Everyone at party was impressed( even the ones that(WERE NOT) bluegrass fans.I am looking forward to my retirement party in 2 years so we can do it again. (Gonna try to get them this upcoming summer also. )Thanks again guys and gal more a awesome performance.

Backwoods from Southern Indiana is a high energy traditional style bluegrass band. They are known for including classic country and 90's country hits into their set, this allows them to be a fun band for country music fans as well!
Backwoods has performed at festivals, weddings, hotels, corporate functions, private parties, and more. The band is able to provide a sound system if needed and is prompt when responding to clients.
Making the booking process as worry free as possible is our goal!
4 piece band, works with one large diaphragm microphone and 3 instrument mics. Can also make due with 1 large diaphragm mic., or if the setting is small and intimate no sound is required.
Instruments include - banjo, mandolin, guitar, and a bass.
Doghouse bass is wired to use a dedicated amp. Can be used with or without amp.
Also has lighting available.
Can fit into tight stage areas if needed.
