Professional bagpiper for any ocassion. As a third generation player, I've been around bagpipes my whole life. I want to share my love of piping with others, and perhaps you’ll let me share the beauty of the Highland Bagpipe with you.
Made our emotional day very memorable with beautiful music. Spent time leading up to the day reviewing music I wanted played. Arrived on time and he was genuinely concerned with making sure he was meeting my needs for this day. I will add it was outside event, cold and snowing and he pushed through the weather. Very very nice man.

Al the Bagpiper was kind enough to play for my mom who was celebrating her 90th birthday…from beginning to end and everything in between was absolutely wonderful! Everyone attending the party was totally shocked in the best way when Al arrived “out of nowhere” playing his pipes…he entertained us for the next hour…many tears of happiness and wonderful memories of years gone by were shed! As my mom is Scottish, as were many in attendance, you can imagine everyone’s reaction. The wee grandchildren had a great time dancing! Al was kind enough to grant some requests as well as play the classics! Can’t say enough about Al…a gentleman from top to bottom…you will not be disappointed! Will be happy to have him come back any time!

I hired Alan for my fathers funeral service. He was great to work with and gave me great suggestions. At the last minute he was easily able to adjust to my slight change in plans. And his music was incredible. It was a terribly cold autumn morning, with all the beautiful colours in the trees and hearing his pipes lead us to my fathers final resting place gave such peace and comfort to our funeral service. My family was so impressed and it was so beneficial for them to be able to end his story with such amazing grace! I am eternally to you Alan. You gave myself and my family soo much more than just your great music.
Alan is very talented. He was very professional throughout the process. I appreciated how responsive he was when discussing details of the event. He showed up early and was very flexible with the run of show.

In spite of the rain Allan walked from the corner playing his bagpipe. It was so great hearing it coming closer and closer. My husband was in tears. He’s a Scot and I’d hired Allan for his 75th birthday. Our whole family was there (20 people) and everyone enjoyed his choice of songs. He posed with us for pictures and was so friendly and obliging. You haven’t heard anything until you hear Happy Birthday on the bagpipes.

My nephew is a big fan of the bagpipes and just learning to play. Alan's performance was a special birthday surprise for him. Alan was so amazing and so professional. He communicated with us in advance to work out location and timing, and asked if there were any songs we wanted to hear. He arrived at the picnic on time and played while entering the park as we had planned. Alan's playing is so beautiful. He is personable and friendly, taking the time to talk with my nephew. Alan was also open to our harebrained idea to have a little parade around the park, which thrilled my nephew. Everything was perfect--I highly recommend Alan for his professionalism and expert playing!

I hired Alan for a 50th birthday event during a pandemic, and he did not disappoint! He is a talented musician and took the time to chat with the audience between songs to best gauge song choice. He was on time and very reasonably priced for a 30 min gig considering he had some travel time. Again he is highly personable and our neighbours are still thanking us (seriously) for the unexpected cheer!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced yet very talented piper!
Who would have thought that there would be a blinding snowstorm at the start of our event yesterday in May. Alan was a real trooper and a treat to include in our birthday celebration. His playing made the event a hit for the surprise birthday boy. Great job Alan.
Alan is incredibly professional, talented and arrived 30 mins. before the event. He was the highlight of the event and received many compliments in regards to his performance. I would highly recommend him.
Alan was punctual, looked great and was a true showman! My family was bawling (including myself) as he piped me into the church for my wedding. He had wonderful tunes for every part and never missed a beat! He was very quick to return messages and emails and I will definitely be calling him in the future!
