It was as if we were in sync with each other. I booked Paul with only 24 hrs notice to bring his gift of playing the pipes at my wedding. Flexible, friendly and very accommodating, Paul is a true professional with a great sense of humour.

Paul played for a loved one’s memorial service June 17 at Sarasota National Cemetery. His playing was beautiful, showing his talent and years of experience. He arrived early, was professional and showed compassion in performing at the event. We are so happy we chose him to help say a final goodbye to our loved one, and would highly recommend him to anyone for any event.

I cannot give enough praise for Paul Macleish. Professional, on time, extremely talented and went above and beyond our expectations! We had a Burns Night celebration and it was an honor to have Paul play the bagpipes for it. He was very accommodating to what we needed and despite the rain, he went out there and played for us- so wonderful! After the bagpipes and everyone was settled in, Paul played Scottish folk songs on the guitar to the delight of our attendees. An absolutely wonderful, easy going experience right from the booking!

We hired Paul Macleish for my nephew's private graduation. After 22yrs of child rearing, school activities, and finally college -- we decided to hire Paul to give my nephew an unforgettable entrance to his ceremony. Paul provided his services for my father's funeral. My family is based out of state. He was professional and easy to work with remotely. Paul made sure our focus could be on our father and provided wonderful music that all my family loved and spoke about at our gathering in the evening. I am really happy we hired him!

We booked MacGilliossa for our annual Shamrocks & Shenanigans event and they were awesome. They arrived on time and brought a sound system that was good enough for our outdoor venue. We are so looking forward to booking Paul and the band for St. Paddy's again. ☺

Paul recently played the bagpipes at my father's funeral and he did an excellent job. He showed up early and stayed late and played a great mix of Irish and Celtic songs which were very memorable. He has a great personality and was very easy to work with through the whole process. I highly recommend Paul for any event that you need bagpipes for.

We were in Treasure Island for our family vacation. My Father In Law loves to hear bag pipes as the sun sets. As a surprise for his birthday, we found Paul on Gigsalad and were able to materialize plans very quickly (two days notice) to meet us on the
Beach. Communication was quick and easy through gig salad and then phone calls and texts.

As the sun was setting, Paul came around a dune on the beach and started playing. We had a small group very quickly! His performance was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better ending to the day. Thank you for making this happen Paul! We would definitely recommend him and hope we can book Him again! A true professional. It can be pretty difficult to help plan a wedding when you are in another country, but GigSalad made it so easy. The musician we chose, Paul McLeish, was so professional. He arrived at the event early, spoke with the wedding planner, and was ready to go with beautiful music which pleased our new daughter in law and her family visiting from England. It was a beautiful addition for two families coming together from "across the pond". Paul was so relational, and his music brought tears of joy to the two families - Irish and Scottish to have this special touch of each family's heritage. Paul played beautiful music. It was perfect!

Paul played for a 90 th birthday party this week. His set was a mixture of little bits of history, amusing anecdotes and, of course, the music.

Paul showed up early, entertained our guests as they arrived, and then provided an excellent wedding march for us, as the parents and wedding party marched down the aisle. He is a skilled musician, who took on the tough challenge of making Pachelbel's Cannon sound good on the bagpipes.

I would absolutely recommend Paul to anyone looking for a good bagpiper in the Tampa area. I couldn't have been happier.

Our Ladies Member/Guest Golf tournament was a great success and Paul Macleish was certainly one of the reasons. The ladies were just so impressed with his smile and of course his Irish accent and playing of the bagpipes.

We hired Paul on very short notice for my Grandmothers funeral. She always said "I want bagpipes at my funeral". She passed very quickly so we were scrambling to find someone. Paul made it happen. He sounded great and everyone loved it. I'm glad we could give that last gift of Paul's music to my Grandma as we said our final goodbye.

Paul, just wanted to say thank you for playing at my Dad's funeral at Arlington Military cemetery. The honor guard with your bagpipe music made the whole event one that my Dad would have been proud to see. You were very professional, and spot on with the tunes I had requested. Paul did a amazing job, not a dry eye in the house when he played Amazing Grace, we talked before and after the ceremony, and everyone commented to me how great it was. I would highly recommend, he is a very nice guy, and amazing player.
