Bagpipes for Weddings, Funerals, Banquets, Birthday Parties. I have been playing Bagpipes for many years and have done tons of these events. I arrive ready to play, dressed in Scottish Highland uniform, and provide a professional experience.
Everything was perfect! The bagpiping was lovely, the communication throughout the whole process was on point, and he was so friendly and prompt. Our wedding day was extra special thanks to Bagpipes by Grizz!!!
We were very pleased with the beautiful music that Bagpipes by Grizz provided for the funeral service. He was prompt in message responses and was waiting at the designated area to start playing while the procession came up to the grave. We would 100% book Grizz again!
It was amazing! Glen came and played during our son’s wedding reception. Even with a last minute venue change due to inclement weather, he was very accommodating. He played 5 songs, including Amazing Grace in memory of our loved ones who had passed.

We recently buried my sister Joan Gee at the Embro North Cemetery. During our family service and remembrances, Glen provided a wonderful medley of Highland music in the background. It was lovely and Joan would have been pleased. Glen was a pleasure to work with on all of the arrangements. He was spot on time and attired in full regalia. From the moment I reached out to Gig Salad’s website to inquire about hiring a bagpiper till the moment my event had ended, I was so pleased at every stage as to how easy they made the process and how well informed I was…
Once I let them know what I was looking for, I was then put in touch with Bagpipes by Grizz (Glen) and from there we immediately discussed date & time, location and music then cost for service. Once all details were locked in to each of our schedules, he then gave me an email address & a mobile # that I could call to discuss anything that I may have wanted to change going forward (since the event was months away) ie music, date or time, which made me feel stress free.
We did end up having a few changes due to different schedules and such which was accommodated by him with no issue.
The event that I hired him for was my father’s interment which turned out to be the hottest and most humid day in a long time!
Glen showed up well in advanced, very appropriately dressed and when he played during the event, there wasn’t a dry eye. The songs were played beautifully….we had the extended a special invitation to Glen to join us in a family tradition, to honour our father with a toast….
No one had known that a bagpiper was going to be playing….everyone that had approach Mom & I afterwards had all said what a “Nice Touch” …..all had thought it just seemed to make it more special and really….who doesn’t love the the music of a bagpiper, seems to bring out the feel good emotions in people!
I would hire him again, without hesitation!
I would definitely use Gig Salad’s website again for others services they have as well!

I hired this piper to play a couple of tunes for my veteran grandfather. He was on time and ready to go, even playing through the rain for us. It was a small ceremony, but it meant everything to all of us. Very respectful, great player and awesome human being. Thank you so much. Melissa

We hired Glenn to pipe our wedding and we couldnt be happier. He even came to our rehersal! He presented VERY well, both in his appearance, his skill in playing the pipes and his general demeanor. He was helpful with suggestions, kind and friendly with our guests and didnt hesitate to take photo requests.
My husband is Scottish and had a list of preferred songs he wanted played throughout our wedding and Glenn accomodated.
We were both VERY pleased and would hire Glenn 'in a heart beat' again!!
