Jacob has toured with and opened for recordings artists of many styles, such as: Trevor Green, Air Supply, Henry Kopono, Chris Issac, Xavier Rudd, Zo!, Anothy David, Anglea Blesset, Hiatus Kayote, Fred Hammond, David Dredden, Jay Roman, Jesse and Joy etc. Being a well rounded musician, and knowing many styles keeps you working.
For any event to go well there needs to be communication. I have worked with hosts who have lost my list of things I need to keep things running smooth, and man was it a pain to improvise and keep a steady, fun flow. The biggest thing I need from you is a vision. Let's put it on paper, talk about your goals for the event, and realistic logistics. Any of this can mean: proper location for the band to set up, decibal level ( we don't want to ruin your conversations, we want to add to the environment), uniform attire, are you trying to impress, or do you have a theme for your get together? As far as flare, lights, cameras, all that can be discussed about for an added fee, I can supply all of those, with proper timing of course. Generally, it's just nice when the client knows what they want, and knows how to properly let the planner know, i.e: Me. From there we can iron it all out and start making a game plan.
We tend to pull a lot of our influences from array of genres. I like to work with and hire well rounded musicians, and singers, therefore we are well versed in many styles ranging from old school jazz to new school pop/rock/funk and everything in between. We love to perform high energy dance music, and keep the vibe of the party at an extreme high. Some events call for low music, and that is fine too. Playing ballads, and or slower sultry tunes is just as fun, and create a unique environment for a more intimate setting. If you have a setlist of music you would like to discuss, rest assure, we can share set-lists and ideas to give you exactly what you want.
