ALBUMS:
Bree’s CD "Healing Waters", including acclaimed tracks "Healing Waters", "You Are My Vision", "Gypsy Road", "My Front Door", "I Trusted You" and "Impossibly Beautiful", was produced by veteran CCM & AC producer Allan Licht. Released in September 2006, this CD has sold over 1500 copies to date. "Healing Waters" has generated stellar reviews from sites like (link hidden), (link hidden), AWOE Magazine, Active Christian Media and Channel Z’s “The Zeph Report”.
By popular demand, in 2011 Bree released "In The Garden", a collection of some of the best loved songs, both Broadway and Spiritual, that Bree performs at live events. The tracks include Bree's signature performances of "Somewhere" (from West Side Story), "Think Of Me" (from Phantom of the Opera), and other Broadway favorites. Sacred classics include "The Lord's Prayer", "Ave Maria", "In The Garden" and "O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings to Zion" (Handel's Messiah). The originals include "Ballerina Beautiful" and "The Lord Is My Shepherd". The final track is a live version of "Agnus Dei" from Mozart's Coronation Mass in C. Fans can purchase the CD at Bree's appearances, at (link hidden) or on this website.
Bree released a full length Christmas album in November 2011. The album marks the culmination of several collaborative relationships Bree explored from (phone number hidden)1. The diverse yet cohesive Holiday music collection features several co-writes including "It's Christmastime" (written with Allan Licht and 3rd place winner in the Next Holiday Classic Contest), "Heaven Came To Earth" (with Marissa DiBlasio) and "Wide Awake on Christmas Eve" (Bree penned the nostalgic lyrics that transport you to your favorite childhood Christmas memories set to music by Joel Irwin, Sharphol, & Karl Mogard). One other special original song (Marissa DiBlasio/Kathy Miller) is the title track, "Gift Beneath The Star". Bree chose this song for its poignant message that Christ is the greatest gift we will ever receive on Christmas which ties together the album's secular and sacred selections. Familiar carols like "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", "Away In A Manger", and "Silent Night" are sung delicately and treated to descants and harmonic accents. Mainstays like "O Holy Night" are given the royal treatment. Bree also included two of her favorite lesser known carols with beautifully haunting melodies: "The Coventry Carol" and "Gabriel's Message". An arrangement of one of Bree's signature performances each Christmas, "Mary Did You Know", is backed by powerful yet understated music, suitable for message of its brilliant lyrics. The crown jewel (in Bree's opinion) is a stunning celtic-style arrangement of "I Wonder As I Wander" which captures the awe of the Christmas story and the mystery of faith. The entire album was produced and mixed by Bree in the fall of 2011, bringing together the musical and thematic influences from her childhood, 25 years of choral singing, and her 2000s singer/songwriter and recording artist talent.
YOU ARE MY VISION Program
Bree speaks at MOPS groups, women's groups, community organizations, in worship services and special events on the topic "You Are My Vision". The presentation is a narrative and musical journey through her life as a woman who has overcome great adversity. Bree has been legally blind since birth. In her candid talk and through her music, she unveils her most intimate feelings about growing up with a disability and how it has affected her life and her relationship with God. Her stories reveal how God made his presence known to her and how these experiences taught her to trust in Him for spiritual vision when her physical vision failed her.
Her mother played a major role in making her a confident and well-adjusted child despite her limitations. Bree’s stories about her mom encourage all all mothers that they can have a powerful influence in their childrens’ lives.
As an adult, Bree has made successful careers in business and music, overcoming the stigmas she faced in the workplace. She talks about how God led her to become a songwriter and how His words flowed through her in her greatest time of suffering to create a very special song.
“You Are My Vision” is approximately 45-50 min long and includes 4 songs. Bree’s full biography, pastoral and women's leader references and music samples are available on this website. Bree hopes this presentation will help and inspire others to trust God in all things and to lean on Him in times of struggle.
