Canadian pianist Bronwyn Schuman is currently pursuing her Doctor of Music in Collaborative Piano at McGill's Schulich School of Music under pianist Michael McMahon. In 2020, Bronwyn graduated with her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from The Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied with Lydia Brown, Jonathan Feldman, and Brian Zeger, among others. A two-time winner of Juilliard’s Honors Recital in Alice Tully Hall, Bronwyn has also performed in Juilliard’s Sonatenabend and Liederabend series, Lincoln Center’s Focus Festival, and on WQXR’s live broadcast, “Midday Masterpieces.” Before Juilliard, she completed her BMus under Edwin Gnandt at Ambrose University in Calgary, Canada, where she also completed her BA in English. During her summers, she has attended the Franz-Schubert-Institut (Vienna), Mountain View International Festival of Song and Chamber Music (Calgary), SongFest (Los Angeles), and Toronto Summer Music. In addition to summer festivals, Bronwyn has enjoyed apprenticeships at other summer programs, including the operatic coach and accompanist fellowship at the Atlantic Music Festival (Maine), and the coach and répétiteur fellowship at Aquilon Music Festival (Oregon). Bronwyn is an active music teacher and performer in Montréal, Québec.
