Central Blues Company

We are a passionate Rock/Blues Power trio from Columbus, OH. Playing anything from Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, ZZtop, BB King, Allman brothers, Joe Bonamassa Just to name a few. All the while including many original selections from us as well. We pride ourselves on meticulous and powerful guitar solos with a tight rhythm section. We have "music for your soul" as many has said about us. Our debut self-titled CD was named the 2018 “Best Self-Produced Blues CD” in Columbus by the Columbus Blues Alliance. We have a follow up album due to release in December of this 2020. We placed 2nd place for the Columbus Blues Alliance "Blues Challenge" in 2019 . We hold endorsements from Dunlop\MXR, Orange Amplifiers, Kustom Sound, Po's Percussion and Keeley Electronics. We have played places all over Ohio for many different events ranging from night clubs, Pubs, motor cycle clubs, private party's, restaurants, corporate event's or any other place you can imagine.

Jason Allwood-lead guitar and vocals: Jason has dedicated his life to being a student of the guitar, and has been playing since the age of 11. He has been in a number of bands and currently heads Central Blues Co., along with the Jason Allwood Band, as well as solo acoustic performances. He has participated in 5 different battle of the bands contests, and won all 5. He has performed in numerous venues including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. He is certainly the BEST at what he does!

Tim Hill-drums: Tim has been playing and performing publicly since the young age of 12. He plays several instruments, including drums, bass, and guitar. He currently is a member of several bands, including the Jason Allwood Band (bass), and is frequently sought after to perform with various local artists, which includes all different genres of music from rock to country to jazz.

Dion Worrell-bass and vocals: Dion started his music endeavor at the age of 12. He discovered very quickly that he had an aptitude for music in general. By the age of 15 he was playing professionally on his bass. Dion ended up going to The Ohio State University where he majored in Music Education with Tuba being his main instrument of study. He also Plays tuba for the mighty “Brass Band of Columbus”. Having a rock, classical, jazz, and now blues background is a testament to his great versatility!

All we require is electric outlets and a place for 3 guys to entertain your quest. We will handle everything else.
